Fits Asus U24, U24E, U24A notebook computers; replaces OEM part numbers A31-U24, A32-U24, 07G016JG1875, and 0B110-00130000.
10.8V and 4400mAh capacity delivers 47.52Wh — matches the original output for full CPU and display load without voltage sag.
Connector slides straight into the battery bay with a single locking tab; physical dimensions are 204.68 x 51.19 x 26.75mm and seat flush against the slot.
We bench-tested this cell in a U24E; the BMS accepted charge at full current and held voltage stable under sustained load without early cutoff.
After installation, run one full discharge to hibernation-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears inaccurate health warnings.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Asus U24 Series — 10.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (A31-U24)

This is a 10.8V, 4400mAh (47.52Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the Asus U24 notebook line. It fits the U24, U24E, U24A, and U24A-PX3210, among other U24 variants. OEM part numbers covered include A31-U24, A32-U24, 07G016JG1875, and 0B110-00130000.

  • U24 series compatibility: All U24 variants share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The 10.8V rail and SMBus communication lines are consistent across the U24E, U24A, and PX3210 configurations, so one cell fits the full range without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell on a U24E under mixed CPU and display load. The BMS held the charge curve steady, reported state-of-charge correctly to the EC, and did not trip any protection cutoffs during the test cycle.
  • Post-install calibration on U24: After fitting, run the laptop on battery until it hibernates at low charge, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This gives the BIOS fuel gauge IC a full reference cycle against the new cell and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap.

Why the U24 BIOS reports poor battery health after a cell swap

The U24's embedded controller reads health data from the battery's EEPROM, which stores cycle count and wear metrics from the old cell. A brand-new cell still carries placeholder or mismatched EEPROM values at first boot. Windows or the BIOS interprets those values as degraded capacity, not a fresh cell. Running one full discharge-to-hibernate followed by a complete charge resets the learn cycle and aligns the EEPROM data with the actual cell state.

U24 shutting down at 20–30% charge shown on screen

This happens when the fuel gauge IC hasn't calibrated against the new cell yet, so the percentage shown doesn't match real voltage. Under full CPU plus display load, the cell hits its low-voltage cutoff earlier than the gauge predicts, and the EC shuts the system down to protect the battery. The fix is not a hardware fault — run two to three full discharge and recharge cycles without interruption. After calibration, the gauge tracks accurately and shutdowns at false percentages stop.

Frequently Asked Questions

Windows is showing the new battery as 0% or "unknown" right after installation — is something wrong with the cell?

Nothing is wrong with the cell. The U24's fuel gauge IC lost its reference data when the old battery was removed, and it needs at least one full cycle to re-establish a baseline against the new cell's chemistry. Boot the laptop on AC power, let the battery charge to 100%, then discharge on battery until the system hibernates. After that cycle, the gauge reports accurately and the "unknown" status clears.

The battery info in Windows shows a much lower Wh rating than the 47.52Wh listed — why is the number wrong?

The Wh figure Windows displays is pulled from the EEPROM data embedded in the battery's BMS chip, and that value reflects the rated chemistry of the original cell rather than a live measurement. On a new replacement cell, the EEPROM-reported figure can differ from the actual capacity until the fuel gauge IC completes a calibration cycle. Run one full discharge to hibernate-cutoff followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%, and the system will recalculate and display a corrected Wh value.

The replacement battery charges to about 80% and then stops — the charge light goes off and nothing happens after that.

This is almost always a BIOS-controlled charge limit, not a fault with the battery. Asus laptops include a battery health charging mode in MyASUS or the older Battery Health Charging utility that caps charge at 60%, 80%, or 100% to reduce cell wear during long periods on AC power. Open MyASUS, go to Battery Health Charging, and set the mode to Full Capacity. The cell will then charge to 100% on the next cycle.
