Fits Asus Zenbook UX32LN with OEM part number C31N1330 or 0B200-00070200 battery.
11.3V at 4400mAh (49.72Wh) restores full charge cycles to your ultrabook without voltage sag during CPU load.
Connector type is proprietary Asus keyed; locking tab slides toward the hinge — do not force sideways insertion.
We ran discharge cycles at 50% display brightness and full CPU — BMS held voltage stable through the full draw without early cutoff.
On first power-up after install, run one complete discharge to hibernation-cutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% to reset the BIOS battery learn cycle and clear false health warnings.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Asus Zenbook UX32LN / UX32LA — 11.3V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C31N1330)

This is an 11.3V, 4400mAh (49.72Wh) Li-Polymer battery for the Asus Zenbook UX32LN and UX32LA ultrabook series. It replaces OEM part numbers C31N1330 and 0B200-00070200. Physical dimensions are 294.68 × 85.06 × 10.30mm — measure your existing cell before ordering if you are unsure of your exact variant.

  • UX32LN and UX32LA compatibility: Both models share the same three-cell Li-Polymer pack configuration, the same 11.3V nominal rail, and the same BMS handshake protocol through the EC controller. The connector pinout and physical form factor are identical across the UX32 range covered here.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a UX32LN unit. The BMS negotiated correctly with the embedded controller, current draw held steady under combined CPU and display load, and the protection circuit tripped at the expected low-voltage cutoff without a hard crash.
  • Post-install calibration on UX32 series: After fitting this cell, run the laptop down to hibernate cutoff under normal use — do not force-drain it — then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the machine. This gives the fuel gauge IC a full reference range to work from and clears the inaccurate health warning the BIOS logs after every cell swap.

BIOS reporting poor battery health immediately after fitting a new cell

The Asus EC stores the previous cell's charge history and wear data in EEPROM. When a new cell is installed, that stored data does not automatically reset — so the BIOS reads degraded cycle counts from the old record and flags health as poor or unknown. This is not a fault with the replacement cell. Running one full calibration cycle — full discharge to hibernate, then a complete uninterrupted charge to 100% — rewrites the learned parameters. After one or two cycles the BIOS health indicator will reflect the actual state of the new cell.

Laptop shuts down at 20–30% charge shown on screen

This happens when the fuel gauge IC has not yet calibrated against the new cell's voltage curve. The IC is still using reference points from the old, degraded cell, so it misjudges where the voltage cliff sits and triggers shutdown well before the cell is actually empty. It is not a faulty battery. Run two to three full discharge-to-hibernate and full charge cycles without interrupting the charge phase. After calibration, the gauge will track the new cell accurately and shutdowns at false low percentages will stop.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Windows battery icon says 0% and won't charge after I put the new cell in — is the BIOS blocking it?

The EC on UX32 models reads EEPROM data from the previous cell on first boot. If that data is corrupt or unrecognised, the system can report 0% and hold the charger off until the EC re-initialises. Shut the laptop down completely, disconnect the charger, hold the power button for 15 seconds to clear residual EC state, then reconnect the charger and boot. If the EC still does not recognise the cell, enter the BIOS, navigate to Advanced > Battery Health Charging, disable any charge limit, save, and reboot.

Windows shows the new battery as 49Wh but my system info screen is displaying a different rated capacity — which is correct?

The figure Windows pulls from system info reflects the Wh value stored in the cell's EEPROM at the factory, which can differ slightly from the actual chemistry capacity of 49.72Wh shown in the product data. Neither reading indicates a fault. What matters is that the fuel gauge IC calibrates against the real voltage curve, not the stored EEPROM label. Run one full discharge to hibernate cutoff followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% and the reported figures will converge.

My Zenbook charges fine but the fuel gauge percentage jumps around wildly — drops 15% in two minutes then sits still for an hour.

The fuel gauge IC on the UX32 series needs several full reference cycles before it maps the new cell's voltage curve accurately. Until it does, it interpolates from stale data and the percentage readout is unreliable. This is normal for the first two to three cycles after a cell swap — it is not a sign of a defective battery. Run three complete discharge-to-hibernate and full charge cycles without using the laptop during the charge phase, and the gauge will stabilise.
