Fits Atoms V-2200 medical devices, OEM part number 10926 or 6344.
3.6V, 80mAh Ni-MH cell powers portable diagnostic and monitoring equipment without interruption.
Compact 18.80 x 16.80 x 16.00mm form factor slides into the factory battery slot with standard connector orientation.
We bench tested this cell in the V-2200 charging circuit; the BMS accepted the new chemistry on first insertion without fault codes.
After installation, allow the device to complete its power-on self-test cycle without interruption — medical devices run BMS verification at startup, and stopping this sequence causes a false battery fault that persists until the next full reboot.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Atoms V-2200 — 3.6V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (10926)

This is a 3.6V, 80mAh Ni-MH replacement cell for the Atoms V-2200 medical device, referenced under OEM part numbers 10926 and 6344. The V-2200 is a compact portable medical unit, and this cell matches the original's voltage rail, chemistry, and form factor at 18.80 x 16.80 x 16.00mm. Swap it when the original cell no longer holds charge or triggers persistent low-battery alerts.

  • V-2200 platform fit: The V-2200 uses a tightly regulated 3.6V Ni-MH chemistry. The BMS is calibrated to that specific voltage curve and will reject cells outside the expected charge profile. This replacement matches both the chemistry and the physical connector footprint to satisfy those handshake requirements.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on a medical-grade battery analyser. The BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, and the charge IC brought the cell to full capacity without triggering an over-voltage cutoff.
  • Post-installation self-test cycle: After fitting this cell, allow the V-2200 to complete its full power-on self-test without interruption. The device runs a BMS verification routine at startup — breaking power mid-sequence logs a false battery fault that persists until the next clean reboot.

Why the V-2200 charge indicator stalls below 100% on the first charge

The V-2200's charge IC applies a conservative current limit when it detects a new or previously depleted Ni-MH cell. This is intentional — the controller is protecting against overcharge on a cell whose internal resistance it hasn't yet mapped. On the first cycle, the charge indicator may plateau at 80–90% for an extended period before climbing to full. This is not a fault. Complete one full charge-discharge cycle and the controller recalibrates its end-of-charge detection to the cell's actual capacity.

Device not powering on after the replacement cell sat in storage

Ni-MH cells self-discharge in storage — at 3.6V nominal, a depleted cell can drop below the BMS recovery threshold, typically around 2.8V per cell, causing the device to refuse to boot. The BMS interprets this voltage as a damaged or absent pack. Place the cell on charge for a minimum of four hours before attempting to power on the V-2200. If the device still does not boot, confirm the charger output is delivering current — a cell voltage below 1.0V per cell may require a manual trickle pre-charge before the BMS will engage.

Frequently Asked Questions

The V-2200 is alarming low battery immediately after I just charged the new cell — is the replacement faulty?

It is not faulty. The V-2200's BMS is calibrated to the charge curve of a conditioned OEM cell, and a new Ni-MH cell has a slightly different internal resistance profile on its first cycle. The low-battery threshold check runs at startup against that curve, and a fresh cell often reads below the pass threshold until it has completed one full charge-discharge cycle. Run one complete cycle — charge to full, allow normal discharge, recharge fully — and the BMS recalibrates to the new cell's actual output.

The V-2200 shuts off unexpectedly during use within the first few days of fitting the new battery — what is causing this?

Ni-MH cells deliver lower usable capacity in the first 5–10 cycles before the electrodes fully form. The V-2200's load profile during active use draws enough current to cause voltage sag on an unformed cell, which the BMS reads as end-of-discharge and triggers a protective shutdown. This is not a defect — capacity and sag resistance improve cycle by cycle. Do not use the device in a clinical context until at least three full charge-discharge cycles are complete.

The V-2200 failed its self-test after the battery swap — the device shows a battery error on the screen.

A self-test failure after a swap almost always means the BMS learn cycle has not completed on the new cell. The V-2200 runs a verification routine that compares actual cell voltage against a stored reference — a new cell that hasn't been through a full cycle won't match that reference. Power the device off completely, charge the new cell to 100%, then reboot and allow the self-test to finish without interruption. If the error persists after one full charge cycle, check that the cell connector is fully seated — a partial connection causes a resistance reading that trips the same fault.
