Fits Babysense BBM01, BBM03, and Bonoch BBM05 parent units; replaces OEM part UT905560P.
3.7V, 4000mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers sustained power for wireless audio-video transmission throughout monitoring sessions.
Connector slides into the battery slot beneath the parent unit with positive contact facing inward; locking tab secures flush.
We bench-tested this pack on the BBM01 transmit circuit; the BMS handled cold-start video streaming without voltage sag or cutoff.
After installation, re-pair the parent unit with your camera unit — power interruption clears the wireless link and requires manual reconnection.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Babysense BBM01 / BBM03 / HD S2 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (UT905560P)

This is a 3.7V, 4000mAh Li-Polymer battery for the Babysense parent unit. It fits the BBM01, BBM03, Bonoch BBM05, and HD S2 Video Baby Monitor. OEM part number UT905560P confirms the match across all four models.

  • BBM01, BBM03, BBM05, and HD S2 compatibility: These parent units share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and 3.7V voltage rail. The BMS handshake is identical across the range, so one cell fits all four without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the parent unit. The BMS accepted the full 4000mAh capacity without flagging a fault, and voltage held steady through both screen-on and screen-off loads.
  • Screen timeout after battery swap: Baby monitor parent units keep the display lit by default. After fitting this battery, set the screen timeout in the menu before overnight use — continuous screen-on draw will pull the cell down faster than standby mode alone.

Parent unit not connecting to the camera after battery swap

Babysense parent units lose their stored wireless pairing when power drops to zero — which happens during a battery replacement. The unit does not automatically re-pair on first boot with a new cell. Hold the pair button on both the camera unit and the parent unit simultaneously until the link indicator confirms connection. This step is required every time the parent unit loses power completely.

IR night vision failing after fitting the new battery

The infrared LEDs on the camera unit draw power from the camera's own supply, but the parent unit's receiver circuit needs adequate voltage to process and display the IR feed correctly. If night vision appears black or grainy immediately after a swap, the new cell may not yet be at full charge. Charge the parent unit to 4.2V before testing night vision. A partially charged Li-Polymer cell can cause display artefacts under sustained IR load.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Babysense parent unit battery drains completely overnight even with the new battery fitted — what's causing it?

Screen-on operation is the main culprit. The parent unit display running continuously at night draws significantly more current than standby audio-only mode. Go into the parent unit menu and enable the screen timeout or VOX mode, which cuts the display until sound is detected. On our bench tests, continuous screen-on draw pulled the 4000mAh cell down far faster than VOX-triggered operation across the same period.

The range on my Babysense parent unit seems shorter after replacing the battery — is that normal?

Range drops when the cell is not at full charge. The parent unit's 2.4GHz radio transmit power is voltage-sensitive — a cell sitting below 3.9V will reduce effective range noticeably. Charge the parent unit fully before judging range performance. Once the cell reaches 4.2V and completes a full charge cycle, range should return to its standard specification.

The Babysense parent unit shows a charging indicator but the battery percentage doesn't increase — what's wrong?

A Li-Polymer cell that has been fully discharged can enter a protection state where the BMS blocks normal charge acceptance. The charger sees the connection and shows an indicator, but current isn't flowing into the cell. Connect the parent unit to its charger and leave it undisturbed for 30–60 minutes — the BMS on this cell uses a trickle pre-charge phase to recover from deep discharge before resuming standard charge current. If the percentage still won't climb after that period, check that the charging cable is delivering consistent voltage rather than switching on and off.
