Fits VIVO Y69, VIVO Y69 Dual SIM, and model 1714 — replaces OEM part B-C8.
3.85V and 2900mAh capacity matches original output for calls, messaging, and app performance.
Connector seats flush into the battery slot with no orientation confusion on this form factor.
We bench-tested the B-C8 cell against the OEM curve — BMS accepted charge without fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current fast charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BBK Vivo Y69 — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (B-C8)

This is a 3.85V, 2900mAh Li-Polymer cell (11.17Wh) for the Vivo Y69, Vivo Y69 Dual SIM, Vivo Y69 Dual SIM TD-LTE, and model 1714. It replaces OEM part B-C8 when the original cell no longer holds charge through a normal day. Physical dimensions are 89.22 × 64.98 × 3.24mm — measure your existing cell before installing.

  • Vivo Y69 and 1714 platform fit: These model numbers share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol. The same B-C8 part number covers all variants listed — there is no electrical difference between the standard and Dual SIM TD-LTE builds at the battery level.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on a Vivo Y69 unit. The BMS handshake completed on first insertion, charge IC accepted the cell without flagging an unknown battery warning, and voltage held stable under screen-on and modem-active load.
  • First-cycle fuel gauge calibration: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle. The fuel gauge IC on the Vivo Y69 is calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — one full cycle with standard charge current lets it recalibrate against the new cell before fast charging pushes high current into an uncalibrated state.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Vivo Y69 after a cell swap

This happens because the fuel gauge IC still references the discharge curve of the old, degraded cell. When the new cell reaches the voltage range that previously corresponded to near-empty on the worn cell, the OS interprets it as critically low and forces a shutdown. The phone shuts off even though the new cell has usable charge remaining. One full discharge-charge cycle with the screen on — letting the coulomb counter track the full swing — corrects the mismatch.

Phone warm near the battery during the first few charges after replacement

A new Li-Polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell. The charge IC on the Vivo Y69 pushes current into that higher resistance, which generates more heat than you'd see on a used cell. This is normal for the first three to five charge cycles and reduces as impedance drops with use. If the phone stays warm after five cycles, check that the battery connector is fully seated — a partially connected cell forces the charge IC to work harder.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Vivo Y69 shuts off at around 25% after fitting the new B-C8 battery — did I get a faulty cell?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC is still reading against the old cell's discharge curve, so it hits its low-voltage cutoff threshold before the new cell is actually empty. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% with fast charging off — the coulomb counter resets its reference points against the new cell and the early shutdowns stop.

The OS is showing the battery jumping between 40% and 65% erratically right after I replaced the battery — what is happening?

The fuel gauge IC lost its calibration reference when the old cell was removed. Without a known discharge curve, the coulomb counter makes large corrections as it gathers new data, which shows up as percentage jumps. Do not restart the phone repeatedly — that resets the counter each time. Let the phone run a full discharge-to-shutdown cycle and then charge straight to 100%, and the IC will lock onto the new cell's curve. Erratic readings typically settle within two full cycles.

Fast charging stopped working on my Vivo Y69 after I swapped in the new battery — the phone only charges slowly now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the Vivo charge IC sometimes withholds the proprietary fast-charge protocol until it has verified the new cell's impedance and temperature profile. Charge the phone to 100% once on standard charge, then unplug and restart the device. On the next charge cycle, fast charging should re-engage — if it does not, confirm the battery connector is fully clicked in, as a loose pin drops the BMS handshake below the threshold needed for high-current charging.
