Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung Galaxy J6 SM-J600 Series — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (EB-BJ800ABE)
This is a 3.85V, 3000mAh lithium-polymer replacement battery for the Samsung Galaxy J6 lineup, including SM-J600L, SM-J600N, SM-J600F, and SM-J600FN among others. It carries OEM part numbers EB-BJ800ABE and GH82-16479A. It slots into the standard mid-frame bay and connects to the charge IC via the original five-pin flex connector.
- SM-J600 series fit: All SM-J600 variants share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — that is why a single cell covers the full range. The 88.20 × 39.55 × 4.84mm form factor is identical across the lineup.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell on an SM-J600F unit and confirmed the BMS accepted the handshake on first boot. The charge IC stepped through trickle, CC, and CV phases without fault flags. Voltage held at 3.85V nominal under screen-on load.
- First-cycle fuel gauge reset: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle. This gives the fuel gauge IC time to map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell
A new cell has a slightly different voltage-versus-capacity curve than the depleted original it replaced. The fuel gauge IC still holds the old curve in its coulomb counter. When modem activity or screen brightness spikes current draw, voltage drops sharply at a point the IC thinks is 25% — but the cell is actually at its safe floor. The phone interprets that voltage cliff as a fault and cuts power. One complete discharge cycle down to auto-off followed by a full charge resets the coulomb counter to the new curve and eliminates the false cutoff.
USB fast charge not accepted on first cycle after swap
Samsung's Adaptive Fast Charging handshake runs a brief negotiation between the charger, the USB controller, and the BMS. On a fresh cell with no charge history, the BMS defaults to standard 5V/1A input until it completes one full charge cycle at low current. This is a protection mode, not a fault. Charge the phone once at standard rate using the OEM cable. On the next charge cycle the BMS re-enables the fast-charge current path and the charger negotiates the higher voltage rail normally.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does my Galaxy J6 shut off on its own when the battery still shows 20–25%?
The fuel gauge IC in the J6 calculates remaining charge against the original cell's discharge curve — stored in the coulomb counter. A replacement cell has a slightly different curve, so the IC misjudges the voltage cliff and triggers an emergency shutdown before the battery is actually empty. Run one full discharge to auto-off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without fast charging enabled. That single cycle recalibrates the coulomb counter to the new cell and stops the false cutoff.
The phone gets noticeably warm near the back panel while charging on the new battery — is something wrong?
A fresh lithium-polymer cell starts with higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell. The charge IC pushes current into that higher resistance, which converts more energy to heat than usual during the first several charge cycles. This is normal and reduces as the cell cycles. If the warmth is concentrated at the upper-left corner near the charge IC rather than spread evenly across the back, check that the flex connector is fully seated — a partial connection increases contact resistance and raises localised heat.
My J6 won't power on at all after the new battery sat in the phone unused for a few weeks — what happened?
Lithium-polymer cells self-discharge in storage. If the cell dropped below approximately 2.5V per cell, the BMS entered lockout mode to prevent damage from deep discharge. The phone will not respond to the power button in this state. Connect the original Samsung charger and leave it plugged in for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything — the charge IC runs a trickle-charge recovery sequence that brings the cell back above the BMS re-enable threshold, after which normal charging resumes and the phone powers on.
