Fits BlackBerry Z10 and replaces OEM battery LS1, ACC-51546-201, BAT-47277-003, BAT-47277-001.
3.7V 1800mAh cell delivers the capacity needed to power the Z10's processor, display, and modem through a full day.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a single locking tab — matches the original contact orientation exactly.
We bench-tested the LS1 BMS against a stock Z10 charger; the fuel gauge IC accepted the new cell without fault codes on first insertion.
On first use after installation, complete one full discharge-charge cycle without enabling any fast charging mode — this recalibrates the coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BlackBerry Z10 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (LS1 / BAT-47277-003)

This is a 3.7V, 1800mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the BlackBerry Z10 smartphone, including the Z10 4G and Z10 4G LTE variants. It uses OEM part references LS1, ACC-51546-201, BAT-47277-003, and BAT-47277-001. The cell slots into the standard Z10 battery bay and connects to the device's charge and fuel gauge circuitry directly.

  • Z10 family compatibility: The Z10, Laguna, Z10 4G, and Z10 4G LTE all share the same battery bay dimensions and connector pinout. The LS1 designation covers the full range, so no adapter or modification is needed across these variants.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through a full discharge and charge sequence on a Z10 unit. The BMS accepted the charge handshake without error, and the fuel gauge IC tracked state-of-charge across the complete curve without flagging a fault condition.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first installation, disable fast charging if your Z10 supports it and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Z10 after a cell swap

The Z10's fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge curve from the previous cell. When you install a new cell, the stored curve no longer matches the actual voltage profile of the replacement. Under high-draw conditions — active LTE radio, screen at full brightness — the cell voltage drops faster than the gauge expects, and the phone shuts down to protect the cell even though the reported percentage looks safe. One full discharge-charge cycle forces the coulomb counter to re-map the curve against the new cell. After that cycle, the shutdown threshold aligns correctly with actual cell capacity.

BlackBerry Z10 showing wrong percentage after battery replacement

The OS percentage reading comes from the fuel gauge IC, not from the cell directly. After a swap, the IC is still referencing calibration data from the old, degraded cell. This causes the display to read 15–20% higher or lower than the actual state-of-charge. Run the phone down to the automatic shutdown point, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without removing the cable. That single full cycle resets the coulomb counter baseline and brings the percentage display back in line with the actual cell voltage.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Z10 powers off at around 25% after fitting this battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is not faulty. The Z10's fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve, so it triggers a low-voltage shutdown earlier than the new cell actually needs. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% in a single uninterrupted session. After that cycle, the coulomb counter recalibrates to the new cell and the early shutdowns stop.

The Z10 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat unused in the phone for several weeks — what happened?

A cell left installed in a powered-off phone will self-discharge over weeks. If voltage drops below approximately 2.5V per cell, the BMS enters a lockout state and blocks normal power-on to prevent cell damage. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for at least 30–45 minutes without attempting to power it on. The charge IC will trickle-charge the cell back above the BMS recovery threshold, after which the phone should boot normally.

Fast charging isn't working on my Z10 with this new battery — it only charges slowly even on a fast charger

On the first charge cycle after a cell swap, the Z10's charge IC defaults to a lower current rate while it verifies the new cell's impedance profile. This is normal behaviour and is not a fault with the battery or charger. Charge the phone fully at whatever rate it accepts on that first cycle, then disconnect and allow the phone to idle for a few minutes before reconnecting. On subsequent charge sessions the IC re-evaluates the cell and typically steps up to the higher charge current.
