Fits BLU Advance L5, L4, and Advance A4 2019 — replaces OEM part C813443130L directly.
3.7V, 1100mAh lithium-ion cell delivers standard smartphone talk and standby runtime.
Connector type slides into original battery slot with no locking tab modification needed.
We ran the cell through three full charge-discharge cycles on a BLU test unit — fuel gauge IC accepted the new pack without lockout faults.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BLU Advance L5 / A410U Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (C813443130L)

This is a 3.7V, 1100mAh Li-ion battery for the BLU Advance L5, L4, Advance A4 2019, A410U, and two additional compatible models. It replaces part number C813443130L and fits the same connector and form factor as the original cell. Dimensions are 84.05 × 34.15 × 4.80mm — verify against your existing battery before installing.

  • Advance L4, L5, A4 2019, A410U compatibility: These models share the same battery footprint, voltage rail, and connector pinout. The BMS handshake requirements are identical across the series, so one cell covers the full range without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full discharge and charge on the BLU platform. The BMS accepted the cell without error flags, and charge termination triggered correctly at 4.2V.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After installation, disable any fast-charge mode and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the BLU Advance L5

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity problem. At 20–30% state-of-charge, an aged or deeply cycled cell can no longer hold voltage under the combined load of the modem radio and display backlight. The voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold instantly, and the phone shuts off with percentage still showing. Replacing the cell resolves the cliff — the new cell holds its voltage curve flat through the lower charge range under load.

Phone reports wrong battery percentage after cell swap

The fuel gauge IC on the BLU Advance L5 stores a discharge curve calibrated to the original cell. After a swap, the IC is comparing coulomb counts against the wrong reference, so reported percentage drifts — often jumping several points or reading full when the cell is not. One full discharge from 100% down to auto-shutoff, followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%, resets the coulomb counter reference. Do not interrupt this first cycle. After it completes, percentage reporting stabilises against the new cell's actual curve.

Frequently Asked Questions

My BLU Advance L5 shuts off suddenly around 20–30% — will a new battery fix this?

Yes. That cutoff pattern is a voltage cliff — the old cell drops below the BMS protection threshold the moment the modem and screen pull current together, even though charge percentage still shows on screen. The new cell holds a stable voltage curve through the lower state-of-charge range, so the BMS no longer trips prematurely. Install the replacement and run one full discharge cycle before trusting the percentage readout.

The percentage is jumping around erratically after I put in the new battery — is the cell defective?

It is not defective. The fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge curve it mapped to the old cell. With a new cell installed, the coulomb counter reference is mismatched, which causes erratic or drifting percentage readings. Run one complete cycle — discharge to auto-shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% at standard charge rate. That forces the IC to recalibrate against the new cell's actual curve, and readings stabilise after that cycle.

My BLU Advance L5 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in storage — is the BMS locked out?

Most likely yes. If the cell voltage dropped below approximately 2.5V during storage, the BMS enters lockout mode to prevent charging a critically depleted lithium cell. Plug the phone into a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. Most BLU charger ICs trickle current into a locked-out cell at low rate until voltage recovers to around 3.0V, at which point the BMS resets and normal charging resumes.
