Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BLU Dash X Plus LTE — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (C975339250P)
This is a 3.7V, 2300mAh Li-ion battery for the BLU Dash X Plus LTE (D0030UU) smartphone. It replaces part number C975339250P and slots into the same battery bay as the original cell. Voltage and capacity match the factory spec exactly.
- Dash X Plus LTE and D0030UU compatibility: Both model references share the same PCB layout, battery connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell covers both. The 3.7V nominal rail and physical dimensions (97.05 × 52.45 × 3.82mm) are identical across the variant.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a monitored rig. The BMS accepted the charge profile without tripping overcurrent protection, and the cell held voltage within spec through the full discharge curve.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% uninterrupted. This gives the fuel gauge IC a clean reference curve against the new cell before high-current charging cycles begin.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Dash X Plus LTE after a cell swap
A new cell has a discharge curve the phone's fuel gauge IC has never seen before. The IC is still using the old cell's calibration map, so it misreads remaining voltage and lets the phone run into a voltage cliff — the cell drops below the modem's minimum rail before the OS triggers a normal shutdown. The screen and LTE radio together pull enough current to cause a rapid voltage sag that the uncalibrated gauge doesn't anticipate. Run one full discharge-to-shutdown and full recharge cycle to reset the coulomb counter against the new cell's actual curve.
Battery percentage jumping or reading incorrectly after replacement
The Dash X Plus LTE stores the previous cell's charge curve in the fuel gauge IC's learned table. When a new cell goes in, the IC reports percentage against data that no longer matches reality — so you see jumps, sudden drops, or a reading that freezes and then skips. This is not a fault with the replacement cell. Force a full recalibration: discharge the phone completely until it shuts itself off, then charge to 100% without interruption and without removing the charger early. After one complete cycle, the fuel gauge IC recalculates its reference and the percentage display stabilises.

Frequently Asked Questions
My BLU Dash X Plus LTE won't turn on at all after the new battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the cell dead?
Probably not dead, but the BMS has locked out the cell due to deep discharge below 2.5V per cell during storage. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without attempting to power it on. The charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell long enough to bring voltage above the BMS re-enable threshold before the phone will respond to the power button. If the phone still shows nothing after 40 minutes on the wall charger, check the charge port for debris.
Fast charging stopped working the first time I plugged in after fitting the replacement battery — my original cell charged fast every time.
On the first charge cycle with a new cell, the BMS presents higher impedance than the charge IC expects, and some USB-PD or proprietary fast-charge handshakes fall back to standard 5V charging as a precaution. This is normal behaviour on cycle one. Charge to 100% at standard rate, disconnect, discharge normally, then plug back in — fast charging typically re-engages from the second cycle onward once the charge IC has profiled the new cell's impedance.
The phone feels noticeably warm near the battery compartment while charging — is something wrong with the replacement cell?
Mild warmth during the first few charge cycles is expected with a new high-impedance cell. The charge IC on the Dash X Plus LTE pushes current into the cell and the resistance across a brand-new cell is slightly higher than a conditioned one, so more energy converts to heat until the cell breaks in. If the phone is hot to the touch — not just warm — remove the charger immediately and let it cool. Normal break-in warmth drops off after two or three full cycles; if it persists past cycle three, check that the replacement cell dimensions match the 97.05 × 52.45 × 3.82mm spec and that the cell is seated flat with no pressure on the connector.
