Fits BLU Studio 7.0 HD and D700A/D700i variants, replaces OEM part C1275703300P.
Voltage 3.8V, capacity 3000mAh — supports full-day calling, messaging, and app use on this device.
Micro connector with flat orientation, seats flush against the battery door without obstruction.
We bench-tested the BMS against the Studio 7.0 HD charge circuit; fuel gauge accepted the new cell after cold insertion.
On first full cycle after installation, charge the phone without fast charging enabled — this allows the fuel gauge IC to map the new cell's discharge curve and prevents percentage errors during subsequent charges.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BLU Studio 7.0 HD — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C1275703300P)

This 3.8V, 3000mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces the original cell in the BLU Studio 7.0 HD and its variants — D700A, D700i, and D700. It matches the OEM part number C1275703300P and fits the same 125.00 × 56.50 × 3.10mm footprint. Capacity is rated at 11.4Wh, consistent with the original specification.

  • Studio 7.0 HD series compatibility: The D700A, D700i, and D700 variants share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake voltage rail. One cell fits the entire line without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on BLU Studio 7.0 HD hardware. The BMS accepted charge without flagging overvoltage, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle before normal use. This lets the phone's fuel gauge IC build an accurate discharge curve against the new cell before high-current charging is applied to an uncalibrated pack.

Why the Studio 7.0 HD reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge curve from the original cell. When a new cell goes in, the IC is still reading against that old curve, so the percentage shown on screen drifts from the actual state of charge. This mismatch is most visible in the 30–60% range, where the original cell had accumulated wear. One full discharge cycle down to automatic shutdown — followed by a complete charge to 100% — resets the coulomb counter and lets the IC re-map against the new cell's actual capacity.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the cell voltage drops sharply under load from the modem or display — a voltage cliff the fuel gauge did not predict. The phone's reported percentage is still positive, but the actual cell voltage has fallen below the BMS cutoff, typically around 3.0–3.2V under peak draw. A fresh Li-Polymer cell can show this behaviour on the first few cycles before the electrolyte fully wets the electrode stack. Run two or three full charge-discharge cycles at normal use; the voltage sag under load will reduce as the cell conditions, and the shutdowns should stop.

Frequently Asked Questions

The BLU Studio 7.0 HD won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is it dead?

It is most likely a BMS lockout. When a Li-Polymer cell discharges below roughly 2.5V in storage, the protection circuit locks out to prevent cell damage and the phone will not respond to the power button. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without attempting to power on. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until voltage rises above the BMS recovery threshold, after which normal charging resumes.

The phone feels noticeably warm near the battery area during the first few charges — is something wrong with the new cell?

This is expected on the first one or two cycles with a new high-impedance Li-Polymer cell. A fresh cell has higher internal resistance than a conditioned one, so the charge IC dissipates more energy as heat while current flows in. If the warmth stays moderate and the phone does not cut charging short, no action is needed. If the back becomes hot to the touch or charging stops prematurely, disconnect, let the phone cool to room temperature, and restart the charge cycle.

Fast charging stopped working after I swapped the battery — the phone only charges slowly now.

The proprietary charge protocol on the Studio 7.0 HD requires the BMS to respond correctly on the first negotiation cycle. On a brand-new cell, the BMS may not pass that handshake on the first attempt, so the charge IC falls back to standard 5V input. Disconnect the charger, power the phone off completely, reconnect the charger, then power the phone back on — this forces a fresh protocol negotiation. If fast charge still does not engage, complete one full standard charge cycle first; the BMS handshake typically succeeds reliably from the second cycle onward.
