Fits BLU Studio X Plus (D770U) — replaces OEM part C80624260T battery pack directly.
3.8V, 2500mAh lithium-polymer cell restores full charge capacity to the original specification.
Connector slides into the factory slot with no adapter needed — polarity marked on housing.
We bench-cycled the pack through full discharge-recharge; BMS accepted charge without early cutoff or thermal drift.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle with fast charging disabled to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before resuming standard charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BLU Studio X Plus / D770U — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C80624260T)

This 3.8V, 2500mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the original C80624260T battery in the BLU Studio X Plus (D770U). It fits the stock battery bay without modification and connects to the same flex cable harness. Voltage and capacity match the factory spec exactly.

  • Studio X Plus / D770U fit: Both model designations share the same chassis, battery bay dimensions, and flex connector pinout. The C80624260T part number covers both. No adapter or modification needed — the cell drops straight into the original tray.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the Studio X Plus platform. The BMS handshake initialised correctly with the stock charge IC, and charge termination triggered at the expected 4.35V cutoff without error flags.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before the coulomb counter locks in its reference points — skipping this step causes erratic percentage readings early on.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the BLU Studio X Plus

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity fault. When the modem transmits or the screen brightness peaks, current draw spikes hard. If the cell's internal resistance is elevated — common in aged Li-Polymer cells — terminal voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold even though the fuel gauge still shows charge remaining. The BMS trips and the phone shuts down. Replacing the cell eliminates the resistance spike. After fitting the new cell, confirm the phone stabilises through a full discharge cycle before assuming the issue persists.

Phone not powering on after the replacement cell sat in storage

Li-Polymer cells in storage self-discharge slowly. If a replacement cell ships or sits at a warehouse in a deeply discharged state, the BMS may lock out below 2.5V per cell and refuse to pass current to the board. The phone shows nothing — no charge indicator, no boot screen. Connect to a wall charger, not a PC port, and leave it for 15–20 minutes. Most BMS circuits include a trickle pre-charge path that recovers the cell once voltage climbs back above the 2.8V re-enable threshold.

Frequently Asked Questions

My BLU Studio X Plus keeps shutting off around 25% battery — is that a faulty cell?

That pattern points to a voltage cliff, not a defective cell. Under modem or display load, current draw spikes and a high-resistance cell can't hold terminal voltage above the BMS cutoff — so the phone shuts down even though the gauge reads 25%. A fresh C80624260T cell with lower internal resistance eliminates the drop. Run one full discharge-charge cycle after fitting it to confirm the shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage on my Studio X Plus jumps around erratically after I put in the new battery — what's wrong?

Nothing is wrong with the cell. The fuel gauge IC on the D770U is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. It takes one complete discharge down to auto-shutdown, followed by a full charge to 100%, before the coulomb counter rebuilds an accurate reference map. Until that cycle completes, percentage readings will jump or stall. Run that single cycle at standard charge rate — no fast charging — and the gauge stabilises.

Fast charging stopped working after I replaced the battery on my BLU Studio X Plus — how do I get it back?

The charge IC sometimes withholds the fast-charge handshake on the first cycle with a new BMS. This is a protocol trust issue — the IC defaults to standard rate until it confirms the new cell's parameters are within spec. Run one full charge cycle at standard rate using the original cable and charger. On the second cycle, fast charging typically re-enables automatically once the charge IC accepts the new BMS negotiation.
