Fits Wiko DuElle handset, replaces OEM battery Duelle.
3.7V 900mAh cell powers calling, messaging, and apps on the DuElle without voltage sag under modem load.
Connector type and orientation match Wiko's internal contact layout; no physical modification needed for installation.
Bench testing showed stable voltage curve under discharge; BMS accepted full charge cycle without early cutoff signals.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Wiko DuElle — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (Duelle)

This is a 3.7V, 900mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Wiko DuElle smartphone. It fits directly into the DuElle handset and restores power to calling, messaging, and app functions. Capacity is 3.33Wh, matching the original cell specification.

  • DuElle platform fit: The DuElle runs a single-cell Li-ion rail at 3.7V nominal. The connector pinout and BMS handshake on this cell match the original board layout, so the charge IC recognises the pack without error flags.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and load on the DuElle board. The BMS accepted charge at the expected cut-off voltage and the fuel gauge IC tracked state-of-charge without tripping a fault.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable any fast-charge mode and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Why the DuElle reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The DuElle's fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge curve from the original cell. When a new cell goes in, that stored curve no longer matches the actual cell chemistry and internal resistance. The OS reads state-of-charge from the IC, not from the cell directly, so the percentage shown can be off by 10–20 points early on. One complete discharge down to device cut-off, followed by a full charge to 4.2V, forces the IC to relearn the curve against the new cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the modem or screen draws a current spike the cell cannot sustain without voltage dropping below the BMS protection threshold. The BMS sees the voltage cliff and cuts output before the OS has time to log a low-battery warning. It is not a faulty cell — it is the fuel gauge IC still using a stale capacity estimate. Run one full calibration cycle and check that the resting voltage after a full charge reads at or above 4.15V.

Frequently Asked Questions

The DuElle shuts off suddenly around 25% battery — is the replacement cell bad?

Almost certainly not a bad cell. At 25%, a current spike from the modem or display causes voltage to sag below the BMS cut-off threshold before the OS can register a low-battery event. The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's internal resistance profile, so its percentage estimate is inaccurate. Run one full discharge to device shut-off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — after that cycle, resting voltage after a full charge should read at or above 4.15V and shutdowns should stop.

The phone won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — what happened?

Extended storage drained the cell below 2.5V, which triggered BMS lockout to prevent cell damage. The BMS will not pass current to the board until voltage recovers above the reinitialisation threshold. Plug into a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing any buttons. If the charging indicator does not appear, try a different cable and confirm the charger outputs at least 1A; a trickle charge from a low-output source may not be enough to pull the cell above the BMS wake-up floor.

Fast charging stopped working on the DuElle after fitting the new battery — why?

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC may default to standard charge rate while it negotiates with the new BMS. This is normal behaviour — the IC runs a handshake to confirm cell chemistry and capacity before allowing higher current. Complete one full standard charge cycle to 100%, then disconnect and reconnect the charger; the fast-charge protocol should re-engage on the second cycle once the IC has logged the new cell's acceptance parameters.
