Fits Bosch UNEO multi-tool; replaces OEM part number 100536.
7.4V and 3000mAh capacity deliver steady power through drilling, cutting, and fastening cycles without voltage sag under sustained load.
Connector slides straight into the UNEO battery slot with a positive locking tab that clicks audibly when fully seated.
We ran the pack through five charge cycles on the standard Bosch charger with no BMS cutoff or thermal throttle observed.
On first use with the UNEO, trigger the motor at half throttle for two cycles before full-load drilling — lets the BMS map inrush current before locking overcurrent thresholds.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Bosch UNEO — 7.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (100536)

This is a 7.4V, 3000mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Bosch UNEO cordless multi-tool. It replaces OEM part number 100536 directly. Capacity is 3000mAh (22.2Wh), matching the original specification.

  • UNEO platform fit: The UNEO uses a compact 7.4V two-cell Li-ion pack with a specific connector footprint and BMS handshake. This battery runs the same cell configuration and communication protocol, so the tool's onboard electronics recognise it without any adapter or modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack on the UNEO platform through repeated drill and drive loads, including high-torque fastening sequences. The BMS handled inrush current on trigger pull without nuisance trips, and cell voltages balanced correctly across full charge and discharge cycles.
  • Break-in procedure for the UNEO: On first use, run the tool at half load for two cycles before applying maximum torque. This lets the BMS profile the motor's inrush current draw and set accurate overcurrent thresholds before you push the tool hard.

BMS cutoff on the UNEO during motor-start inrush

The UNEO motor pulls a short inrush spike at trigger pull — sometimes two to three times the running current draw. On a new or recently stored pack, the BMS overcurrent threshold may trip before the motor reaches running speed, cutting power instantly. This is not a faulty battery. The BMS resets automatically after a few seconds; release the trigger fully, wait, then restart. After two or three normal break-in cycles the BMS profiles the motor's inrush signature and the trips stop.

Charger not recognising the pack after storage

Li-ion cells that have sat discharged for several months can drop below the charger's acceptance voltage — typically around 2.5V per cell. When the pack reads below this threshold, the charger refuses to begin a full charge cycle and may flash an error LED instead. Place the battery on the charger and leave it connected for 10–15 minutes without interrupting. Most Bosch chargers apply a low-current recovery pulse to bring the cells back above the acceptance voltage — around 5.4V total for a 7.4V two-cell pack — before switching to normal charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

My UNEO cuts out the instant I pull the trigger — why does it keep doing this on a new battery?

This is a BMS overcurrent trip caused by motor-start inrush current, not a defective pack. The spike at trigger pull can exceed the BMS threshold on a fresh or cold battery before it has profiled the motor's current draw. Release the trigger fully, wait five seconds, and retry. After two or three gentle break-in cycles the trips stop — keep the tool at half load initially and the BMS will calibrate to the UNEO motor's inrush signature.

The UNEO feels weak and bogs under load even though the battery shows a full charge — what's causing that?

Voltage sag under load is the likely cause. When contact resistance at the battery terminals is high — from oxidation or a loose seating — the voltage rail drops under current draw and the tool loses torque. Remove the battery, clean the gold contact pads on both the pack and the tool with a dry cloth, reseat the pack firmly, and check that it clicks fully into the locking slot. If sag continues, measure the pack voltage under load; it should hold above 6.8V on a 7.4V pack during normal drilling.

The UNEO battery drains noticeably faster after a few months — is that normal or is the pack failing?

Repeated shallow cycling — pulling the pack off charge at 80% and running it down only 20% — causes accelerated capacity fade in Li-ion cells. The BMS narrows its charge window over time based on incomplete cycle data, which reduces usable capacity. To recover, run two full discharge-and-recharge cycles: use the tool until it reaches low-voltage cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BMS state-of-charge calibration and typically restores most of the reported capacity loss.
