Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Coppernic C-One e-ID — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BP13-001080)
This 3.7V 3000mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original pack in the Coppernic C-One e-ID handheld scanner. It fits both the C-One e-ID and XGK-C-ONE-E-ID variants and cross-references OEM part numbers BP13-001080, E00913001, and PCT3200. At 11.1Wh it matches the original energy rating, so charging behaviour in the cradle stays consistent.
- C-One e-ID and XGK-C-ONE-E-ID fit: Both units share the same physical housing, contact layout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell fits both without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through repeated scan-burst sequences and wireless polling loads. The BMS held cell voltage above the low-voltage cutoff threshold throughout sustained draw, with no false trips during back-to-back trigger events.
- First-shift preparation for pick-and-pack: Before using this battery in a live shift, seat it in the cradle and complete a full charge cycle. The scan trigger inrush current peaks when the cell is near minimum — starting from a full charge prevents the BMS from tripping on the first burst of rapid scans.
Cradle charging error after fitting a new pack
The C-One e-ID cradle reads pack state through spring-loaded dock contacts on the base of the unit. Oxidation or debris on those contacts raises resistance enough for the dock to report a charging fault even when the pack itself is fine. Wipe the gold contacts on the battery and the cradle pins with a dry cloth, then reseat the scanner firmly until it clicks. If the error clears, the pack is charging — confirm with the charge indicator LED turning solid.
Scanner losing wireless connection during rapid scan bursts
During a rapid scan burst the imager and the wireless radio draw simultaneously, creating a combined inrush spike that a degraded or partially charged cell cannot sustain without a voltage sag. When cell voltage dips briefly below the radio module's minimum operating threshold, the wireless stack drops and reconnects — appearing as a connection loss rather than a battery fault. This is most common in the first hour of a shift if the battery was not fully charged before use. Start each shift from a full charge and the combined draw stays within the cell's delivery curve.

Frequently Asked Questions
My C-One e-ID won't read barcodes after I swapped the battery — scanner powers on but the imager does nothing
The imager module requires a minimum sustained voltage to fire reliably, and a new pack shipped in storage state may not have enough charge to meet that threshold even though the scanner boots. Place the unit in its cradle, complete a full charge cycle, then test the trigger — the imager should respond immediately once cell voltage is at or near 3.7V under load.
The scanner runs noticeably warm after a long pick-and-pack shift — is that normal?
Heat builds in the C-One e-ID housing when the imager trigger and wireless radio run continuously in an enclosed form factor with limited ventilation. This is a function of sustained combined draw rather than a fault with the battery. If the unit becomes too hot to hold comfortably, let it rest in the open cradle for 10–15 minutes — the charge cycle slows draw and the housing cools. Excessive heat that repeats every shift points to a wireless polling interval set too aggressively in the device configuration.
The new battery shows a full charge indicator but the scanner dies before the shift ends — previous pack lasted longer
Shift endurance depends on scan burst frequency and wireless polling rate together, not battery capacity alone. If the radio is polling the host system continuously while the trigger fires at high frequency, combined draw is significantly higher than a lightly used unit running the same pack. Check the wireless polling interval in the device settings and reduce it if the application allows — this is the single highest-impact adjustment for extending time between charges on this platform.
