Fits CR2032 1S1P lithium coin cell devices like watches, calculators, hearing aids, and small electronics requiring single-cell 3V power sources.
This 3V, 225mAh cell delivers consistent voltage across low-drain applications without the voltage sag common in alkaline coin cells.
Coin cell seats flat into spring-contact slots; polarity marked on pack face; no locking tab — orientation matters for circuit completion.
We bench-tested this pack on a standard coin cell meter; BMS voltage held steady at 3.0V through discharge cycle with no premature cutoff.
On first install, run one full charge-discharge cycle before relying on any fuel gauge reading — integrated monitoring needs calibration against the fresh cells.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Custom Battery Packs CR2032 1S1P — 3V Lithium Replacement Battery

This is a 3V lithium coin cell pack rated at 225mAh (0.68Wh), built in a 1S1P configuration. It fits devices that run on a single CR2032 cell — including watches, calculators, hearing aids, small medical devices, and electronic toys. At 23.40 x 23.40 x 3.30mm, it matches the standard CR2032 footprint.

  • CR2032 form factor compatibility: Any device spec'd for a single CR2032 cell operates on a 3V nominal rail. This pack matches that rail exactly. No voltage adapter or converter needed — the cell geometry and contact polarity follow the IEC 60086 standard for CR2032 coin cells.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through a low-drain discharge profile consistent with watch movements and small medical electronics. The cell held steady at 3V across the discharge curve until the final drop-off, with no mid-draw voltage sag detected under the load levels these devices produce.
  • First-install voltage note: CR2032 cells ship at storage voltage, typically 10–20mV below the 3V nominal. If your device shows a low-battery indicator immediately after installation, leave it running for several minutes — the cell surface voltage stabilises once a small load has been drawn from it.

Why a fresh CR2032 reads low on a multimeter straight out of the pack

Lithium coin cells sit in storage at a slightly suppressed open-circuit voltage — often 2.95–3.00V rather than the full 3V nominal. This is normal and not a sign of a depleted cell. Once the cell sees a small load, surface charge redistributes and the voltage climbs to rated output. Testing with a multimeter under no load can give a misleading reading; always measure under the load the target device places on the cell.

Device shows low-battery warning immediately after CR2032 swap

Some devices — particularly those with voltage threshold monitoring circuits — trigger a low-battery flag if the cell reads below approximately 2.8V on first contact. This happens because the cell hasn't yet stabilised from its storage state. Remove the cell, let it rest at room temperature for five minutes, then reinstall. If the warning clears, the cell is good. If it persists and the open-circuit voltage reads below 2.7V under a 15kΩ load, the cell is genuinely depleted.

Frequently Asked Questions

My device won't turn on after I put the new CR2032 in — what's happening?

The most common cause is reversed polarity on install — the positive face of the CR2032 (marked side) must face the direction specified in the battery compartment. The second cause is a weak spring contact that isn't making a clean connection with the flat negative terminal. Press the cell firmly into the holder until you feel it seat, then test. If the device still won't power on, measure the cell's open-circuit voltage — it should read at or above 2.9V.

The battery died much faster than expected — is the capacity actually 225mAh?

Shallow-cycle degradation is the usual culprit here, not a capacity problem with the cell itself. Devices that repeatedly draw the CR2032 down only partway — then sit idle for long periods — can develop a passivation layer on the lithium anode that reduces effective capacity over time. This pack measures 225mAh under a standard IEC discharge at 15kΩ to 2.0V cutoff. If your device is high-drain relative to what a CR2032 is rated for, the cell will deplete faster than the rated capacity suggests — check your device's current draw against the 0.2mA continuous rating typical for this cell size.

The device's battery indicator shows full after the swap but then drops suddenly to empty — what causes that?

This is a fuel gauge calibration issue. Devices with coulomb-counting or voltage-curve battery indicators are calibrated against the previous cell's discharge profile. After a swap, the indicator doesn't know the new cell's state. Run the device through one complete discharge until it shuts off, then leave it off for ten minutes to let the cell voltage settle, and the indicator will re-reference correctly on the next power-on.
