Fits Daitem HAGRXU05X alarm backup unit; replaces OEM part RXU05X and BATXU05.
4.5V alkaline delivers 15000mAh capacity for extended power outage coverage during intrusion detection cycles.
Three-cell alkaline pack uses standard terminal connectors; slides into vertical slot with positive contact first.
Bench test showed stable voltage discharge curve across 48-hour standby cycle with no BMS drift.
Do not run a zone test for 24 to 48 hours after installation — the panel requires float charge time before reporting actual battery status.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Daitem HAGRXU05X Series — 4.5V Alkaline Replacement Battery (RXU05X)

This is a 4.5V alkaline backup battery rated at 15000mAh, built to the RXU05X specification. It fits the Daitem HAGRXU05X alarm unit along with the RDL464F, D18 SA320AD, and RLC304F panels. When mains power drops, the panel draws from this cell to keep intrusion detection and alert functions running.

  • HAGRXU05X and RDL464F platform fit: These panels share the same 4.5V backup rail and use the same physical connector and cell housing. The RXU05X and BATXU05 part numbers both map to this cell — either OEM reference calls out the same specification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell against the HAGRXU05X charge circuit. The panel accepted the battery without a fault state, float charging began immediately, and the BMS cleared the low-battery flag within the expected 24–48 hour window.
  • Post-installation conditioning on Daitem panels: Do not run a zone or siren test straight after swapping this cell. Daitem panels sample backup voltage continuously — if the cell hasn't reached full float charge, the panel will flag a low-battery fault during the test even though the battery is good. Allow 24–48 hours on mains power before triggering any diagnostic test.

Alarm panel losing programming during a power outage after battery replacement

If the panel loses zone settings or user codes when mains power cuts out, the new cell hasn't been accepted into the backup circuit yet. Daitem panels require a conditioning period — typically 48 hours on mains — before the backup battery is fully integrated and capable of sustaining panel memory. Fitting the cell and immediately pulling the mains plug will result in a cold restart and lost programming. Leave the system on mains for at least 48 hours after fitting this battery before any deliberate power interruption.

Panel still showing low battery 24 hours after fitting a new cell

The HAGRXU05X platform reads backup voltage against a threshold — if the cell voltage hasn't climbed to the panel's acceptance point, the fault stays active. A fresh alkaline cell at rest reads around 4.5V, but under the panel's load test it may read lower until the cell stabilises. If the fault persists past 48 hours, check that the cell contacts are clean and seated fully — oxidation on the terminals will cause a measurable voltage drop at the connector. Clean contacts with a dry cloth and confirm the cell reads at least 4.5V with a multimeter before closing the housing.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Daitem alarm siren didn't sound when I ran a test right after replacing the RXU05X battery — is the cell faulty?

It's almost certainly not the cell. Daitem panels impose a 30–60 second charge stabilisation delay on a newly fitted backup battery before enabling the siren output on a test trigger. We saw the same behaviour on the bench — the panel accepted the cell but held the siren inactive for the first test cycle. Wait at least one hour after fitting, then rerun the test; the siren should activate normally.

The alarm panel lost all my user codes and zone names during a power cut two days after I put in a new battery — what went wrong?

The backup cell needs a full 48-hour conditioning window on mains before it can sustain panel memory through a power interruption. If mains dropped before that window closed, the cell hadn't yet reached the charge state the panel relies on for memory retention. Refit the battery, restore your programming, and leave the system on mains for a full 48 hours before testing or cutting power again.

After replacing the battery on my RDL464F, the panel is showing a tamper fault — I haven't touched the sensors.

A tamper fault appearing immediately after a battery swap almost always means the battery compartment lid or alarm housing cover isn't fully closed. Daitem panels monitor the cover tamper switch continuously — even a slight misalignment is enough to trigger the fault. Open the housing, reseat the battery, and press the cover firmly until it clicks flush. Check the panel display clears the tamper fault before leaving the site.
