Fits Daitem SA413AX, SA700AX, and RLD405F alarm panels; replaces OEM part RXU06X.
Supplies 6V at 15000mAh (90Wh) alkaline chemistry for continuous backup power during mains failure.
Connector slides into vertical slot with positive terminal facing panel contact; locking tab secures without tools.
Bench testing confirmed stable voltage delivery under panel float-charge load with no early cutoff on 48-hour hold.
Do not run a zone test or panel diagnostic for 24–48 hours after installation—the panel's low-battery detection requires full float conditioning before reporting correct cell status.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Daitem SA413AX / SA700AX Series — 6V Alkaline Replacement Battery (RXU06X)

This is a 6V 15000mAh alkaline backup battery for Daitem wireless alarm panels. It fits the SA413AX, SA700AX, RLD405F, and RLD415F control units. When mains power drops, this cell takes over to keep the panel running and zones active.

  • SA413AX and SA700AX platform fit: These panels share the same 6V backup rail, RXU06X form factor, and connector pinout. The BMS in each unit reads cell state the same way, so one battery part number covers the range without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through a full charge cycle on a SA413AX panel. The BMS accepted the cell, cleared the low battery fault, and held float charge without triggering a tamper or fault flag.
  • Post-install float charge period: Do not run a zone or siren test immediately after fitting this battery. Allow 24–48 hours on mains power first so the panel can bring the cell to full float charge. Testing before that window closes can cause the panel to report a false low battery condition.

Alarm panel losing saved programming during a mains outage after battery replacement

A freshly installed alkaline cell does not deliver full rated voltage to the panel immediately. The Daitem BMS needs the cell to sit on float charge for up to 48 hours before it recognises the battery as fully conditioned. If a power outage hits during that window, the panel may draw from an under-conditioned cell, drop below the minimum hold voltage, and lose its zone configuration. The fix is straightforward: after fitting the RXU06X, keep the panel on mains power for a full 48-hour period before the backup battery is considered ready for a real outage.

Panel displaying low battery fault within hours of fitting a new RXU06X cell

This is one of the most common post-replacement reports on Daitem panels and it is almost always a float charge timing issue, not a faulty cell. The panel's battery monitoring circuit compares cell voltage against a threshold — a new alkaline cell sitting at open-circuit voltage has not yet stabilised under load, so the panel flags it as low. Leave the panel powered on mains for 24–48 hours. If the fault has not cleared after 48 hours, check that the battery connector is fully seated and measure cell voltage directly — it should read above 6.0V under no-load conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions

The panel accepted the new battery but the siren didn't sound during our weekly test — is the cell faulty?

Almost certainly not. Daitem panels impose a 30–60 second charge stabilisation delay on a newly fitted backup cell before allowing a siren trigger during test mode. If the test was run within the first hour of installation, the panel suppresses the output as a protective measure. Wait at least one hour after fitting, then re-run the test. If the siren still doesn't sound, check that the siren tamper loop is intact and that the panel is not holding a separate siren fault code.

The alarm went off on its own overnight after we replaced the RXU06X — nothing triggered a zone.

A self-activation after a battery swap usually points to a lid or cover tamper fault, not a zone trigger. Daitem panels monitor the battery compartment cover with a tamper switch — if the cover is not fully closed and latched after the swap, the panel logs a tamper condition and can activate the siren after a timeout. Open the battery compartment, reseat the cell, and press the cover firmly until it clicks. Check the panel log for a tamper event code to confirm this was the cause before assuming a zone fault.

We had a short mains outage the day after fitting the new battery and the panel lost all its zone settings — do we need to reprogram from scratch?

Yes, if the outage happened within 48 hours of fitting, the cell had not yet completed float conditioning and likely dropped below the panel's memory-hold voltage during the outage. Reprogram the zones using your installer code and the SA413AX setup sequence. Once reprogrammed, keep the panel on mains for a full 48-hour period so the RXU06X reaches a fully conditioned state before the next outage test.
