Fits Dell XPS 10 tablet; replaces OEM part numbers JD33K and 0FP02G.
7.4V, 3600mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers 26.64Wh for extended tablet sessions away from power.
Connector interfaces directly with XPS 10 battery slot; no adapter or modification required.
We bench tested this pack on XPS 10 hardware; BMS accepted charge cycle without fault codes.
After installation, run one full discharge to hibernate-cutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears inaccurate health warnings that appear after cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Dell XPS 10 — 7.4V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (JD33K / 0FP02G)

This is a 7.4V, 3600mAh (26.64Wh) Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Dell XPS 10 tablet. It fits the tablet unit directly, restoring portable power to the 10-inch Windows display when the original cell has degraded. OEM part numbers JD33K and 0FP02G both cross-reference to this battery.

  • XPS 10 tablet compatibility: The XPS 10 uses a dedicated battery in the tablet display unit, separate from any keyboard dock battery. This cell matches the flat Li-Polymer form factor at 250.63 × 116.02 × 3.39mm, the correct 7.4V nominal rail, and the BMS handshake the Dell EC firmware expects on first charge.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge, idle draw, and load cycles on the XPS 10 platform. The BMS negotiated correctly with the Dell EC, and the fuel gauge initialised without fault codes on the test unit.
  • First-cycle calibration on the XPS 10: After installation, run the tablet down to the hibernate cutoff under normal use, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This gives the fuel gauge IC a full reference sweep against the new cell chemistry and clears the inaccurate battery health warning that appears in the Dell BIOS after a cell swap.

BIOS reporting poor battery health immediately after fitting the new cell

The Dell BIOS reads health data from the battery's EEPROM, which ships with factory default values rather than live cycle data. On first boot, those defaults often read as degraded relative to what the BIOS expects. This is not a fault with the replacement cell. One full discharge-to-hibernate followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% rewrites the BIOS battery learn cycle. After that cycle, the health indicator should resolve to normal.

XPS 10 shutting down with 20–30% charge still shown on screen

This happens when the fuel gauge IC has not yet calibrated its state-of-charge model against the new cell. The displayed percentage drifts high, so the system hits the actual low-voltage cutoff while still showing residual charge. The cell voltage drops below the safe threshold before the gauge catches up. Run two full discharge-to-hibernate and charge-to-100% cycles — after the second cycle, the gauge recalibrates and the shutdown point should align with the displayed percentage at or below 5%.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Dell BIOS is showing the new battery as "unknown" or 0% — is the cell dead on arrival?

It is not. The BIOS pulls state-of-charge and health data from the battery's EEPROM, and a replacement cell ships with factory defaults that the Dell EC reads as uninitialised. Boot into Windows, let the tablet discharge fully to the hibernate cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After that learn cycle completes, the BIOS and OS fuel gauge should report correctly.

System info is showing the wrong Wh rating — it says something different from 26.64Wh listed on the battery.

The Wh figure shown in Windows Device Manager or Dell Power Manager is pulled from the EEPROM's rated capacity field, not measured from the live cell. Different firmware revisions store slightly different factory values, so a mismatch between the listed spec and the OS readout is normal. It does not affect charging or actual capacity. The cell is rated at 26.64Wh — what the software displays is a static EEPROM value that updates only after full calibration cycles.

New battery is stuck charging at 80% and won't go higher — is the charger the problem?

The charger is not the problem. Dell's BIOS includes a charge-limit feature that caps charging at 80% by default on some firmware versions — it is a software control, not a hardware fault with the cell. Open Dell Power Manager or the BIOS battery settings and check whether "primarily AC" or a custom charge threshold is enabled. Set it to charge to 100% and the cell will charge fully.
