Fits Doro SmartEasy 7050, 7050 Flip, 7070, 7060 and replacements for OEM part DBS-1350A.
3.8V, 1200mAh lithium-ion cell delivers 4.56Wh — sufficient for calls, messaging, and standby on this basic smartphone platform.
Connector slides vertically into the battery slot; locking tab seats flush with the housing wall.
Bench testing shows the BMS accepted charge cycles without early cutoff; fuel gauge IC reads capacity correctly on first insertion.
On first full cycle after installation, disable any fast-charge setting in the phone menu — this prevents the coulomb counter from miscalibrating against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Doro SmartEasy 7050 / 7070 / 7060 — 3.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (DBS-1350A)

This is a 3.8V, 1200mAh Li-ion replacement cell for the Doro SmartEasy 7050, 7050 Flip, 7070, and 7060 smartphones. It matches OEM part number DBS-1350A and fits directly into the original battery compartment. Voltage and connector alignment match the factory specification.

  • SmartEasy 7050 / 7050 Flip / 7070 / 7060 compatibility: These models share the same 3.8V battery rail, physical footprint (53.54 × 38.30 × 5.56mm), and connector pinout. The BMS handshake protocol is consistent across the range, so one cell covers all listed variants without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the SmartEasy 7050 platform. The BMS accepted the cell without triggering fault codes, and the charge IC reached full termination voltage correctly at 4.35V.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard current. The fuel gauge IC on these Doro handsets calibrates its coulomb counter against the cell's actual discharge curve on the first cycle — skipping this step leads to inaccurate percentage readings until recalibration occurs naturally.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the SmartEasy 7050 after a cell swap

This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's voltage-discharge curve. The new cell's voltage drops more steeply under modem or screen load than the old degraded cell did at the same reported percentage. The phone's power management circuit sees the voltage cliff and triggers an emergency shutdown before the gauge catches up. One full unconstrained discharge-charge cycle corrects the curve mapping and stops the premature shutdowns.

Phone not powering on after the replacement battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage. If the cell voltage drops below 2.5V, the BMS enters lockout mode to prevent damage — the phone will show no response at all, not even a charging indicator. Connect the phone to a wall charger (not a USB port) and leave it untouched for 20–30 minutes. Most Doro SmartEasy BMS circuits will re-initialise once the cell recovers to approximately 3.0V, at which point the charging animation should appear.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my Doro SmartEasy 7050 showing the wrong battery percentage after fitting the new cell?

The fuel gauge IC on these handsets stores a learned discharge curve from the old cell — it does not automatically reset when you swap the battery. Until it relearns the new cell's actual voltage behaviour, the percentage readout will be inaccurate. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using fast charge. After that single cycle the coulomb counter recalibrates and the percentage tracking stabilises.

The SmartEasy 7050 feels warm near the battery while charging the new cell — is that normal?

A new Li-ion cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in one, so the charge IC works slightly harder to push current through on the first few cycles. Mild warmth in the battery area during the first two or three charges is expected and reduces as the cell's impedance settles. If the phone becomes too hot to hold comfortably or the back panel warps, stop charging and check that the battery connector is fully seated. Normal operating temperature through the back casing should stay below 40°C.

Fast charging stopped working after I replaced the battery on my Doro SmartEasy 7050 — why?

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the phone's charge controller sometimes refuses the fast-charge handshake because the BMS on the new cell has not yet completed its initialisation sequence with the device. Complete one full standard-rate charge to 100% first. After that cycle the charge controller re-negotiates the protocol correctly and fast charging should resume on the next session.
