Dreame Mova K30 / K30 Pro — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery (W2418J-0F)

This is a 25.2V, 2500mAh (63Wh) lithium-ion battery pack for the Dreame Mova K30 and Mova K30 Pro cordless stick vacuums. It replaces OEM part number W2418J-0F. When the original cell degrades and suction drops off well before the indicator hits low, this is the unit to swap in.

• Mova K30 and K30 Pro compatibility: Both models run the same 25.2V motor rail and use the same BMS handshake protocol — one battery pack covers both variants without modification.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through variable-load draw matching the Mova K30 motor under carpet and hard-floor conditions. The BMS held voltage within spec across both load profiles and tripped cleanly on overcurrent without latching.
• Dock charging on the Mova K30: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock continuously. The Mova K30 dock does not cut trickle charge once full, and cells kept at constant high state-of-charge degrade significantly faster. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator shows low on the Mova K30

This is a voltage-sag issue, not a capacity issue. When the filter is partially blocked or the floor head is restricted, motor draw spikes above rated current. The BMS responds by pulling pack voltage down to protect the cells, and the motor loses speed before the indicator registers a low charge. Clean the filter and check the floor head for blockage first. If suction normalises after clearing the restriction, the battery is not the fault — but if voltage sag persists under normal load with a clean filter, the cell has degraded and needs replacement.

Motor cutting out mid-session and recovering after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a wiring fault. Sustained restricted airflow forces the motor to pull more current than the BMS threshold allows, so it cuts power momentarily then resets. The fix is to clear the filter and check the brush roll for hair wrap before assuming the battery is the cause. If the motor cuts out on a clean, unobstructed run, measure pack voltage under load — a healthy pack at mid-charge should hold above 22V. Drop below that under light load and the cell stack is the problem.
