Fits Midea Q7 cordless stick vacuum cleaner, directly replaces OEM battery HB006B.
29.6V, 2500mAh lithium-ion pack delivers full motor voltage for consistent suction across carpet and hard floors.
Connector slides into the battery bay with a locking tab—seat it fully until the tab clicks and stops.
We bench-tested this cell in a Q7 motor load circuit; BMS accepted the pack on first dock connection with no fault codes.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock continuously after reaching full charge—trickle current degrades capacity faster than charge-and-remove cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Midea Q7 — 29.6V Li-ion Replacement Battery (HB006B)

This is a 29.6V, 2500mAh Li-ion battery for the Midea Q7 cordless stick vacuum. It replaces OEM part HB006B and fits directly into the Q7's battery housing. Voltage and cell count match the original pack exactly.

  • Q7 platform fit: The Q7 battery bay uses a specific latch and contact alignment that is shared only within the Q7 line. The BMS in this pack is configured to communicate with the Q7's motor controller — voltage cutoff and cell protection thresholds match what the vacuum expects at full draw and at idle.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full charge and discharge cycles on the Q7 platform. The BMS held correct cutoff under sustained motor load, and the vacuum's battery indicator tracked cell voltage accurately across the full discharge curve.
  • Dock charging habit on the Q7: Do not leave the Q7 sitting on the charging dock continuously. The Q7 dock does not terminate charge in a way that protects long-term cell health — packs left docked indefinitely show measurable capacity fade within months. Charge fully, then remove from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the Q7

This happens when the motor draws more current than the BMS's sustained-load threshold allows. On the Q7, a partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder — current draw climbs, and the BMS reduces output voltage to protect the cells. The result is weaker suction even though the battery reads mid-charge. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest. If suction recovers, the battery was not the cause.

Q7 motor cuts out mid-clean and then restarts after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a failing battery. When suction is restricted — blocked nozzle, full dust cup, or clogged filter — the motor stalls briefly, current spikes, and the BMS cuts power to protect the cells. The pack resets after a short thermal and current recovery window, which is why the vacuum restarts on its own. Clear the blockage and empty the dust cup before assuming the battery is faulty. If cut-outs stop after clearing the restriction, the pack is functioning correctly.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Midea Q7 has a new battery but the runtime seems much shorter than it should be — what's causing that?

A restricted filter is the most common cause. When airflow is blocked, the motor draws more current than its rated load, which depletes the 2500mAh pack faster than normal operating draw would. Remove and clean or replace the filter, then run a full charge-discharge cycle. If runtime improves, the filter was the issue, not the battery.

The Q7 battery faded fast after only a few months — could the charging dock be the cause?

Yes, this is a known issue with continuous dock charging. The Q7 dock does not actively terminate charge once the pack is full, so cells left docked for extended periods experience trickle charge stress that degrades capacity over repeated cycles. Charge the battery to full, then remove it from the dock. Store the vacuum off the charger and reconnect only when the battery needs a top-up.

My replacement HB006B won't charge on the Q7 dock — the indicator light doesn't respond at all.

The Q7 charger expects a BMS handshake before it begins charging. If the replacement pack's BMS is in a low-voltage lockout state — which can happen if the pack has sat discharged for an extended period — the dock will not initiate a charge cycle. Try connecting the pack, waiting 60 seconds, and disconnecting and reconnecting it. If the charger still shows no response, verify the dock contacts are clean and making firm contact with the battery terminals.
