Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Dreame RLS95HE / S40 Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (P2024-4S2P-ZLZH)
This is a 14.4V 5200mAh (74.88Wh) Li-ion battery for the Dreame RLS95HE, S30 Pro Ultra, S40, and X30s Pro Ultra cordless stick vacuums. It replaces OEM part P2024-4S2P-ZLZH using the same 4S2P cell configuration and BMS as the factory unit. Dimensions are 132.00 × 38.70 × 37.00mm — confirm these match your battery bay before ordering.
- RLS95HE, S30 Pro Ultra, S40, X30s Pro Ultra compatibility: These four models share the same 14.4V battery platform, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol. The battery management system on each vacuum expects the same voltage thresholds and cell temperature signalling — this replacement meets those requirements without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this battery through charge and discharge cycles on the S40 platform. The BMS triggered protection correctly at low-cell cutoff and resumed charge acceptance cleanly after a full discharge recovery. Cell balancing across both parallel groups held within spec throughout testing.
- Dock charging discipline on the RLS95HE: Do not leave the vacuum seated on the charging dock permanently. These vacuums on continuous dock charge develop capacity fade faster than units charged only when the battery is depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock until the next use.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the RLS95HE
The RLS95HE motor draws significantly more current when airflow is restricted — a partially blocked filter can push draw well above rated load. Under that elevated draw, cell voltage sags early and the BMS interprets it as low battery before the indicator reflects it. The vacuum loses suction noticeably while the LED still shows two or three bars. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest with the new battery. If sag disappears after a filter clean, the cell pack is not the root cause.
Motor cuts out mid-clean and then recovers after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. Sustained restricted airflow — from a clogged filter or blockage in the brush head — forces the motor to pull current above the BMS overcurrent threshold, which shuts the output to protect the cells. After a few seconds the BMS resets and the motor restarts. Clear the blockage and check the filter before concluding the battery is at fault. If cut-outs stop after clearing the restriction, the battery and BMS are functioning correctly.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Dreame S40 loses suction halfway through a clean but the battery indicator still shows plenty of charge — what's happening?
This is voltage sag under load, not a capacity failure. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than normal, which causes cell voltage to drop early and the BMS to reduce output before the indicator catches up. Clean the filter completely and retest — if suction holds consistently, the filter was the cause, not the battery. If sag continues with a clean filter, check the brush head for blockage restricting airflow at the inlet.
The battery on my RLS95HE seems to have lost a lot of capacity within a few months of getting it — could the dock be causing this?
Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of early capacity fade on these vacuums. When the battery sits on the dock at 100% with trickle charge running, the cells experience low-level stress that compounds over weeks into measurable capacity loss. Remove the vacuum from the dock once charging is complete and only return it when the battery is genuinely depleted. Storing at around 40–60% charge for longer periods (weeks unused) will slow degradation further.
My Dreame X30s Pro Ultra won't charge with the replacement battery — the charger light stays off or flashes an error. What do I check first?
The charger on these models expects a BMS handshake via the data pin before it initiates charge. If the pin is dirty, bent, or making poor contact in the dock, the handshake fails and the charger will not start. Clean the battery contacts and dock pins with a dry cloth, seat the battery firmly, and try again. If the charger still shows no charge initiation, check that the battery resting voltage is above 10.8V — below that threshold the charger may reject the pack as over-discharged and require a recovery charge via a compatible Li-ion charger at 0.1C before normal charging resumes.
