Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Bosch BBH3PETGB/01 Series — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery (828BPV252-01)
This 25.2V, 2600mAh (65.52Wh) lithium-ion battery fits the Bosch BBH3PETGB/01 and a range of related cordless stick vacuums. It replaces OEM part 828BPV252-01 and cross-references 12026529 and NV-BFXX. Fit models include the BBH3PETGB/03, BBH3ZOO25/01, and BBH3ZOO25/03, among others.
- BBH3 platform compatibility: These models share a common 25.2V cell stack, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The battery communicates charge state and thermal data back to the vacuum's motor controller — swapping to a cell with a different BMS profile causes the unit to refuse startup or cut mid-cycle.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this battery through repeated charge and discharge cycles on the BBH3 platform. The BMS held the low-voltage cutoff correctly, thermal monitoring responded as expected under sustained motor load, and the charger handshake completed without error at each cycle.
- Dock charging habit on BBH3 vacuums: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. Continuous trickle charge on these Li-ion cells accelerates capacity fade. Charge the battery fully, then remove it from the dock until the next use.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
On the BBH3 platform, suction loss often has nothing to do with remaining charge. When the filter is partially blocked, the motor works harder to maintain airflow, drawing current above its rated load. The BMS reads this as a high-draw event and begins throttling power output to protect the cell. The vacuum feels like it's running out of battery, but the indicator still shows mid-range.
Motor cuts out completely then recovers after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked filter, clogged nozzle, or hair wrap at the brush head — the motor spikes current draw past the BMS threshold. The protection circuit interrupts output, the motor stops, and the BMS resets once the overcurrent condition clears. Check and clean the filter first. If the cutout continues on a clear filter, verify cell voltage is above 22V before ruling out a degraded battery.

Frequently Asked Questions
My BBH3 vacuum loses suction halfway through a clean but the battery light still shows plenty of charge — what's happening?
This is motor voltage sag under increased load, not a low battery reading. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which causes the BMS to throttle output — suction drops even though charge appears adequate. Remove, wash, and fully dry the filter before blaming the battery. If suction recovers after a clean filter, the battery was not the fault.
The motor on my BBH3 keeps cutting out for a few seconds then restarts on its own — is the battery failing?
That behaviour is a BMS overcurrent trip, typically caused by restricted airflow rather than a weak cell. Check the brush head for hair wrap, clear the nozzle, and inspect the filter — any blockage forces a current spike that trips the protection circuit. If the cutout stops after clearing the restriction, the battery is fine. If it continues on an unobstructed vacuum, check that cell voltage reads above 22V under load before replacing the battery.
I leave my BBH3 on the charging dock all the time — could that have damaged the original battery?
Yes. Continuous dock charging keeps Li-ion cells at or near full charge indefinitely, which accelerates internal degradation through sustained high state-of-charge stress. The result is capacity fade — the battery holds less charge with each cycle until runtime drops noticeably. With this replacement, charge to full and remove the vacuum from the dock. Reconnect only when the battery needs charging again.
