This 14.4V, 5200mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original power cell in the Ecovacs DVX45, N9, and N9+ robotic vacuum cleaners. It fits all three models and matches the original 74.88Wh energy rating. Swap it in when your robot's cleaning cycles shorten noticeably or the unit stops mid-run and won't restart.

• DVX45, N9, and N9+ compatibility: All three models share the same 14.4V battery rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — which is why a single cell covers all of them. Swapping between these platforms requires no modification.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on the DVX45 platform. The BMS communicated correctly with the robot's charge controller, balanced cells during charge, and tripped overcurrent protection appropriately under load spikes.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

The DVX45 motor draws more current when airflow is restricted — clogged filters or a partially blocked brush roll force the motor to work harder at the same RPM. The BMS reads this sustained high draw as a near-depletion event and throttles output voltage before the indicator registers low battery. The vacuum loses suction, but the charge display still shows 50–60%. Clean the filter and clear the brush roll, then recheck — suction should recover immediately if the cell is not degraded.

Motor cuts out mid-run, then recovers after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the robot hits a thick rug or a debris blockage, current draw spikes sharply. If the spike exceeds the BMS threshold, it disconnects the output to protect the cells — the robot stops, the BMS resets after a few seconds, and the unit restarts normally. If this happens repeatedly on normal carpet, check that the inlet and filter are clear. A clean filter drops motor draw by a measurable margin and keeps current below the BMS trip point.
