Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Xiaomi Dreame G9 / T10 / T20 — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery (3027689)
This 25.2V 2400mAh (60.48Wh) Li-ion battery replaces the original pack in the Xiaomi Dreame G9, T10, T20, and P2010 cordless stick vacuums. It matches OEM part numbers 3027689, BHR4307GL, P2046-7S1P-BCA, P2046-7S1P-BCB, and V2209-7S1P-BCA. Capacity figures are taken directly from our product specifications, not estimated from third-party sources.
- Dreame G9 / T10 / T20 / P2010 platform: These models share the same 25.2V seven-cell architecture, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One battery pack serves the full lineup without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on a Dreame G9 unit. The BMS communicated correctly with the charger, accepted a full charge without error codes, and delivered consistent voltage across load cycles at both standard and MAX suction modes.
- Dock charging habit on cordless vacuums: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the dock permanently between uses. Continuous dock charging subjects Li-ion cells to low-level trickle stress that accelerates capacity fade. Charge to full, remove from the dock, and store the vacuum off the charger.
Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low
This happens when the motor draws more current than the cell can sustain at its present state of charge. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder, pulling amps above the rated draw and triggering the BMS to reduce output voltage before the indicator registers low. The result is noticeable suction loss while the battery display still shows two or three bars. Clean or replace the HEPA filter first — if suction recovers, the battery is not the fault. If suction remains weak with a clean filter on a new pack, check that the voltage at the pack terminals reads at or above 22V under load.
Motor cuts out mid-clean then restarts after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a flat battery. It occurs when sustained restricted airflow — from a blocked filter, full dust bin, or blocked floor head — forces the motor into a high-current stall state. The BMS detects current above its trip threshold and cuts the output circuit to protect the cells. After a few seconds the BMS resets and the motor restarts. Clear the blockage and empty the bin before the next run. If the cutout persists on an unblocked machine, check whether the pack recovers to 25.2V on a full charge cycle — a cell that cannot hold full charge will hit the BMS trip threshold faster under any load.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Dreame G9 suction drops noticeably halfway through a clean even though the battery indicator still shows plenty of charge — is the battery failing?
Not necessarily the battery alone. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to pull more current than rated, and the BMS throttles output voltage early to protect the cells — suction drops while the indicator still reads mid-range. Clean the HEPA filter and empty the bin, then test again. If suction stays strong through a full clean with a fresh filter, the battery is working correctly; if it still drops early, charge the pack to full and check terminal voltage reads at or above 25.2V before use.
The motor on my Dreame T10 cuts out for a few seconds then kicks back in — will a new battery fix this?
This is a BMS overcurrent trip triggered by restricted airflow, not a worn-out cell. When the floor head, bin, or filter is even partially blocked, motor current spikes and the BMS shuts the output circuit to protect the pack — it resets automatically after a few seconds. Clear every blockage, empty the bin, and clean the filter before swapping the battery. If the cutout still happens on an unobstructed machine with this replacement pack fully charged, measure pack voltage at the terminals — it should hold at 25.2V at rest.
I left my Dreame vacuum on the dock for weeks and now it seems to run for far less time than it used to — is that normal?
Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of early capacity fade in cordless stick vacuums. Li-ion cells held at 100% charge under low-level trickle current degrade faster than cells that are charged only when depleted. A replacement pack restores original cell capacity, but the habit needs to change too — charge to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock and store it off the charger. Recheck runtime after three full charge-and-use cycles to let the new cells stabilise.
