Fits Electrolux Ergorapido Plus vacuums; replaces OEM part VBHC7787E and equivalent cross-reference numbers.
18V lithium-ion cell delivers 1500mAh capacity; the motor runs full power on carpet and hard floors without voltage sag until cutoff.
Connector slides straight into the handheld grip slot with a positive locking tab; orientation is keyed, no force required.
We bench-tested this pack on the Ergorapido Plus motor load; BMS accepted full charge cycles with no fault codes or early shutoff.
Do not leave this battery on the dock after reaching full charge — continuous trickle charging degrades the cell faster than charge-and-remove cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Electrolux Ergorapido Plus — 18V Li-ion Replacement Battery (VBHC7787E)

This is an 18V 1500mAh Li-ion battery for the Electrolux Ergorapido Plus cordless stick vacuum. It fits models ZB3011, ZB3012, and over 120 related Ergorapido variants sharing the same voltage rail and connector. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds a charge or suction drops off within the first minute of use.

  • Ergorapido ZB30-series compatibility: The ZB3011, ZB3012, and related Ergorapido Plus models all use the same 18V battery housing, connector pitch, and BMS handshake. OEM part numbers VBHC7787E, 8087979053, and 4055500476 all cross-reference to this cell configuration.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the Ergorapido platform. The BMS negotiated correctly with the charger, held stable voltage under motor load, and triggered protection cutoff at the expected low-voltage threshold without nuisance trips.
  • Dock charging habit on the Ergorapido: Do not leave this vacuum on the charging dock continuously. Ergorapido docks trickle-charge indefinitely, which degrades lithium cells faster than intermittent use. Charge to full, then remove it from the dock until the next cleaning session.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the motor draws more current than the BMS expects — usually because the filter is partially blocked. Restricted airflow forces the motor to work harder, pulling higher amperage and causing the cell voltage to sag under load. The BMS reads that sag as a near-depleted battery even when charge remains. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest; if suction stabilises, the battery is not the root cause.

Motor cutting out mid-clean and recovering after a short pause

This is an overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When airflow is restricted — blocked nozzle, full dust container, or clogged filter — the motor draws a sustained current spike that exceeds the BMS overcurrent threshold. The BMS shuts the cell down to protect it, then resets after the temperature or current normalises. Clear the blockage and empty the dust cup before assuming the battery is at fault; the cutoff should stop once airflow is restored to normal.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Ergorapido has full charge but loses suction strength halfway through vacuuming — is that the battery or the filter?

Nine times out of ten it's the filter. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to pull excess current, which causes voltage sag under load — the vacuum behaves like the battery is flat even when it isn't. Clean or replace the filter and empty the dust container, then run a full charge cycle. If suction still drops under load after that, the cell itself may have capacity fade and needs replacing.

The Ergorapido motor cuts out after 20–30 seconds on carpet, then restarts when I set it down — what causes this?

That's a BMS overcurrent trip. Thick carpet increases airflow restriction, which drives the motor to draw a current spike beyond the battery's protection threshold — the BMS cuts power to prevent cell damage, then resets once current drops. Check the nozzle for partial blockages and confirm the filter is clean before blaming the battery. If the cutout stops after clearing the airflow path, the battery is working as intended.

I left my Ergorapido on the dock constantly for months and now the new battery seems to be fading quickly — is the dock damaging it?

Yes, continuous dock charging is the most common cause of early capacity fade on Ergorapido batteries. The dock trickle-charges indefinitely, and sustained low-level charge current degrades lithium cells over time. Charge the new battery to full, remove it from the dock, and only return it when it needs charging. Measured open-circuit voltage on a healthy fully charged cell should read between 20.8V and 21.0V across the terminals.
