Fits Electrolux EUP82MG cordless vacuum cleaner and replaces OEM part numbers 140112530252, 140112530047, 140112530179, 140112530278.
Delivers 29.6V and 2000mAh capacity — supplies full motor power and cleaning runtime across all carpet types without voltage sag.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a positive lock tab; orientation is keyed to prevent reverse insertion on the dock.
We ran a full discharge cycle on the EUP82MG platform; the BMS held steady at cutoff with no early shutdown or thermal trip.
Remove this battery from the charging dock immediately after it reaches full charge — continuous dock charging accelerates capacity fade in cordless vacuums significantly faster than charge-and-remove cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Electrolux EUP82MG Series — 29.6V Li-ion Replacement Battery (140112530252)

This is a 29.6V 2000mAh (59.2Wh) lithium-ion battery for the Electrolux EUP82MG cordless stick vacuum and related models. It replaces OEM part numbers 140112530252, 140112530047, 140112530179, and 140112530278. The battery slots into the vacuum's power module and restores full motor and suction function.

  • EUP82MG, EUP82RR, and 900278801 01 platform: These models share the same 29.6V battery rail, connector housing, and BMS handshake protocol. A replacement cell that matches those parameters will seat, communicate, and discharge correctly across the whole platform.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the EUP82MG platform. The BMS negotiated correctly, charge acceptance was normal, and the overcurrent protection tripped at the expected threshold under simulated motor load.
  • Dock charging habit on cordless vacuums: Do not leave the vacuum on the charging dock permanently. Continuous trickle charging accelerates capacity fade on Li-ion cells at this voltage class. Charge fully, then remove from the dock until the next use.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

On the EUP82MG, the motor draws higher current whenever the filter is partially blocked — even blockage that isn't visible. That extra draw pulls the cell voltage down under load before the battery gauge registers a problem. The vacuum loses suction noticeably while the indicator still shows a mid or high charge. Cleaning or replacing the filter restores normal current draw and brings performance back in line with the battery's actual state of charge.

Motor cutting out mid-clean and then recovering after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a faulty battery. When the filter restricts airflow, the motor labours and pulls sustained current above the BMS threshold — the protection circuit cuts power to prevent cell damage. After a short pause, the BMS resets and the vacuum starts again. The fix is the filter, not the battery: clear any blockage and check the filter is seated correctly, then confirm the cell rests above 25V before restarting.

Frequently Asked Questions

My EUP82MG loses suction about halfway through a clean but the battery gauge still looks fine — what's happening?

A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which pulls cell voltage down under load even when the gauge shows a healthy state of charge. The vacuum reads voltage at rest, not under strain — so the indicator lags behind real performance. Clean or replace the filter first. If suction recovers, the battery is not the issue.

The vacuum cuts out mid-clean, I wait a minute, and it starts again — is the battery failing?

That restart pattern is a BMS overcurrent trip, not cell failure. Restricted airflow — usually a clogged filter or blockage in the nozzle — causes the motor to sustain current above the protection threshold, and the BMS shuts down to protect the cell. Clear the blockage, reseat the filter, and check the resting voltage is above 25V before running again. If the trip stops occurring after clearing the restriction, the battery is functioning correctly.

My replacement battery charged up but capacity seems much lower after just a few weeks — what causes that?

Leaving the vacuum on the charging dock continuously is the most common cause of early capacity fade on Li-ion cells at 29.6V. Trickle charging holds the cell at peak voltage for extended periods, which accelerates degradation. Charge the battery fully, remove it from the dock, and only return it when it needs charging again. Following that cycle consistently will preserve usable capacity over time.
