This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. The CX8 motor protection circuit cuts power when sustained current draw exceeds the rated ceiling — most often triggered by a blocked filter or a partial blockage in the suction path. The BMS resets after the cell cools slightly, which is why the vacuum restarts after 30–60 seconds. Clear the blockage and wash the filter before the next use. If the cut-out persists on a clean filter, confirm cell voltage sits above 25V before dismissing the battery as a cause.
