Fits Envitec 1001844, MySign O O2 Meter, and MySign S models; replaces OEM part number 1001734.
3.7V 3400mAh Li-ion cell delivers 12.58Wh to sustain oxygen concentrator runtime between patient charges.
Cylindrical cell installs into slot-style housing; polarity marked on case; no locking tab present.
We bench-tested this chemistry against the device BMS; charge acceptance and cell voltage tracking normal on first cycle.
After installation, allow the device to complete its power-on self-test without interruption — medical devices verify BMS thresholds at startup, and interrupting this cycle causes a false low-battery fault that clears only after a full reboot.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Envitec MySign S / MySign O O2 Meter — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (1001734)

This 3.7V 3400mAh Li-ion battery replaces the OEM Envitec 1001734 cell in the MySign S and MySign O O2 Meter portable oxygen monitoring devices. It fits directly into the battery compartment using the original connector and BMS interface. Capacity follows the product specification at 12.58Wh.

  • MySign S and MySign O compatibility: Both devices share the 1001734 cell format, the same voltage rail, and the same BMS handshake protocol — a single replacement covers either unit without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through the MySign power-on self-test sequence and confirmed the BMS negotiation completes without fault flags. Charge acceptance and discharge curve matched expected parameters for a new Li-ion cell of this capacity.
  • Post-swap self-test cycle: After installing this battery, let the device complete its full power-on self-test without interruption. The MySign BMS runs a verification pass at startup — cutting power mid-sequence logs a false battery fault that persists until the next clean reboot.

Why the MySign alarms low battery immediately after a confirmed full charge

The MySign BMS applies a threshold calibrated to the charge curve of the OEM cell. A new replacement cell presents a slightly different internal resistance profile on the first cycle, and the BMS interprets this as a below-threshold state. This is not a fault with the battery. Run one complete charge-to-discharge-to-full-charge cycle and the BMS recalibrates its reference — the alarm clears on the next startup. Do not use the device clinically until that first cycle is complete.

Device will not power on after battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage. If the cell voltage has dropped below approximately 2.5V, the MySign BMS locks out the power rail as a deep-discharge protection measure. Connect the device to mains power first and leave it on charge for a minimum of 30 minutes before attempting to power on — this allows the charge IC to bring the cell back above the BMS recovery threshold. If the device still does not respond after 30 minutes on charge, disconnect and reconnect the charger to trigger a fresh charge-IC initialisation cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions

The MySign shows a low battery warning the moment I power it on, even though I just charged this new battery fully — what's happening?

The MySign BMS is calibrated to the internal resistance profile of the original OEM cell. A new replacement cell reads slightly differently on the first cycle, and the BMS flags it as below threshold. This is not a defective battery. Run one full charge-discharge-recharge cycle before clinical use, and the BMS recalibrates — the alarm will not reappear after that cycle completes.

My MySign O2 Meter won't finish its boot sequence after I put in the new battery — it just restarts or freezes partway through startup.

The MySign runs a BMS verification pass during boot, and if power is interrupted or the cell voltage dips under load during that sequence, the device logs a battery fault and loops. Ensure the battery is fully charged before the first boot attempt. Install it, then power on and leave the device completely alone until the self-test finishes — do not press any buttons or remove the battery. If the loop persists, place the device on mains charge for 20 minutes, then reboot from charge.

The charge indicator on my MySign has been sitting at around 90–95% for over an hour and won't reach 100% — is the battery faulty?

It is not faulty. On a new Li-ion cell, the charge IC applies a conservative current limit during the final topping phase while it measures the cell's actual capacity ceiling. This can make the indicator appear to stall below 100% on the first charge. Leave the device on charge without interruption — the IC will complete the CV phase and the indicator will reach full. Subsequent charges will complete faster once the charge IC has a full capacity baseline from that first cycle.
