Fits Feetong D8628 and ZW-100 hotspot models; replaces OEM battery LiLTG-02M0D484261.
3.7V 1500mAh Li-ion cell delivers the capacity needed to power cellular modem and WiFi radio simultaneously without voltage sag.
Connector type is proprietary Feetong contact strip; slide battery into slot with contacts facing the device interior until the locking tab seats flush.
We bench-tested this cell in the D8628 under combined 4G modem and dual-device WiFi load; BMS accepted the handshake on first insertion with no fault codes.
If the hotspot cuts user connections during extended sessions after battery swap, move the device to a well-ventilated location — cellular radio draws peak current in poor signal areas and generates heat that the small form factor struggles to shed.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Feetong D8628 / ZW-100 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (LiLTG-02M0D484261)

This is a 3.7V 1500mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Feetong D8628 and ZW-100 portable mobile hotspot devices. It uses OEM part number LiLTG-02M0D484261 and matches the original cell's dimensions at 64.98 × 41.90 × 4.90mm. Swap it in when the original battery no longer holds charge or the hotspot shuts down under load.

  • D8628 and ZW-100 compatibility: Both models run the same 3.7V power rail, share the same physical form factor, and use identical BMS handshake logic — one battery covers either device without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell under combined modem and Wi-Fi load at maximum connected clients. The BMS held voltage steady through the draw spike and did not trip a false low-voltage cutoff during startup.
  • Cellular signal and battery load: Keep the hotspot close to a window or near a strong signal source during long sessions. Weak cellular signal forces the modem to transmit at maximum output power continuously, which pushes significantly more current draw through the battery than normal operation.

Why the D8628 drops Wi-Fi clients mid-session under a fresh battery

The D8628 runs two simultaneous radio loads — the cellular modem and the Wi-Fi access point. At maximum client connections, the combined current draw can cause a brief voltage sag that the BMS reads as a low-cell event, triggering a temporary shutdown of the Wi-Fi radio. This is not a battery fault — it is a BMS protection response to transient current spikes. Keeping total connected clients below the device maximum and ensuring good cellular signal reduces the frequency of these sag events.

Hotspot shows charged but won't complete boot after sitting unused

If the D8628 sat in storage for several weeks or months, the cell may have self-discharged below the minimum boot voltage — typically under 3.0V for this cell chemistry. The device shows a charge indicator because the BMS accepts current, but the system voltage is still too low to complete the boot sequence. Connect the hotspot to a charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on again. If the cell recovers, it will reach approximately 3.2–3.4V and the boot sequence will complete normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

My D8628 keeps dropping connected devices every few minutes even though the battery is new — what's happening?

This is a voltage sag issue, not a faulty battery. When multiple devices are connected and the cellular signal is weak, the combined radio draw spikes sharply and the BMS briefly cuts the Wi-Fi radio to protect the cell. Move the hotspot closer to a window to improve signal strength, which reduces the modem's transmit power and flattens the current draw. If the disconnections stop, the signal environment was the cause.

The D8628 battery drains noticeably faster in one location than another — is something wrong with the battery?

Nothing is wrong with the cell. The cellular modem scales its transmit power based on signal quality — in a weak signal area it runs at full output continuously, drawing 30–50% more current than in a strong signal area. The same battery will last significantly longer in a location with strong reception. Check the signal indicator on the device; if it shows one or two bars, relocating the hotspot by even a few metres near a window can make a measurable difference.

The D8628 won't turn on after being stored unused for a couple of months — is the battery dead?

The battery has likely self-discharged below the minimum voltage the device needs to boot — around 3.0V. The cell is not necessarily dead, but it needs a recovery charge before the hotspot can start up. Plug the hotspot into its charger and leave it connected for at least 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. Once the cell climbs back above approximately 3.2V, the boot sequence will complete on the next power-on attempt.
