Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Fujitsu Stylistic Q704 — 10.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (CP642113-01)
This 10.8V, 4150mAh (44.82Wh) Li-Polymer battery fits the Fujitsu Stylistic Q704 hybrid tablet-laptop. It replaces OEM part numbers CP642113-01, FPCBP414, and FPB0308S. It powers the detachable tablet portion of the Q704 and slots into the same connector as the original cell.
- Stylistic Q704 tablet unit fit: The Q704 uses a slim 6.10mm Li-Polymer cell tied to the tablet chassis, not the keyboard dock. The BMS in the tablet communicates directly with the Fujitsu firmware stack, so voltage and connector alignment matter — this cell matches both.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the Q704 platform. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, charge termination triggered correctly at full capacity, and the protection circuit responded to overcurrent as expected.
- Post-swap calibration on the Q704: After fitting this battery, run the tablet down fully until it reaches hibernate cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health or low-capacity warning that often appears after a cell swap.
BIOS reporting poor battery health immediately after fitting a new cell
The Q704 firmware reads battery health from EEPROM data stored by the old cell. When a new cell is installed, that data no longer matches actual capacity, so the BIOS flags the battery as degraded or unknown. This is a firmware calibration issue, not a fault with the replacement cell. Run one full discharge to hibernate cutoff followed by a full uninterrupted charge to 100% — after one or two cycles the BIOS fuel gauge IC re-learns the new cell's actual capacity and the warning clears.
Stylistic Q704 shutting down with 20–30% charge still shown on screen
This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old, degraded cell. The percentage shown is based on stale capacity data, so the tablet hits the real voltage floor before the gauge reaches 0%. Under combined display and CPU load, the cell voltage drops faster than the gauge predicts. Force a full discharge to hibernate cutoff, then charge to 100% without interruption — after this cycle the gauge recalibrates to the new cell and the reported percentage will track actual charge accurately down to the 3.0V per-cell cutoff.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Q704 shows the new battery as "0%" or "Unknown" in the BIOS — is the cell dead on arrival?
It's not a dead cell. The BIOS reads capacity and health data from EEPROM written by the original battery, and a new cell doesn't carry that data. The firmware flags it as unknown until it completes a learn cycle. Discharge the tablet fully to hibernate cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — after one full cycle the BIOS will recognise the cell and report charge correctly.
Windows is showing this battery as 44Wh but the health meter already reads below 80% on a brand-new cell — what's wrong?
The Wh figure in Windows pulls from EEPROM data on the old cell, not from direct measurement of the new one. The fuel gauge IC hasn't yet mapped its readings against the new cell's actual chemistry, so early health calculations are unreliable. Run two full discharge-to-hibernate and charge-to-100% cycles — after that, the fuel gauge IC recalibrates and the reported health figure will reflect the actual cell state.
The Q704 won't charge above 80% with this new battery installed — is the replacement faulty?
This is a BIOS-controlled charge limit, not a cell fault. Fujitsu firmware on some Q704 units enables a battery longevity charge cap that stops charging at 80% by design. Check the Fujitsu Battery Utility or Power Management settings in Windows — there will be a charge limit toggle. Disable the cap or set the threshold to 100%, then reconnect the charger to confirm the cell charges to full voltage (approximately 12.6V at termination).
