This is a 14.4V, 2200mAh (31.68Wh) Li-ion battery for the Hasee Z7-CT7NK and related gaming notebooks. It also fits the Z7-CT7VH, G8-CT7NT, Z7-CT7PRO, and over 19 additional Hasee models sharing the same connector and BMS handshake. OEM part numbers are 6-87-NH50S-41C00 and NH50BAT-4.

  • Z7 and G8 platform compatibility: These models share a common NH50 battery bay, four-pin connector, and BMS communication protocol — the same cell slides in without adapter or firmware modification across all listed variants.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on NH50-platform hardware. The BMS handshook cleanly, charge current tapered normally at saturation, and protection circuits tripped correctly at low-voltage cutoff.

Why the Z7-CT7NK BIOS flags the replacement cell as poor health

The BIOS on NH50-platform Hasee notebooks stores learned capacity data in EEPROM from the previous cell. When a new cell goes in, that stored data no longer matches what the fuel gauge IC is reading from the fresh chemistry. The system interprets the mismatch as degradation and raises a health warning — even on a brand-new cell. Running one full discharge-to-hibernate, then an uninterrupted charge to 100%, lets the fuel gauge IC write new baseline figures to EEPROM and clears the flag. No firmware update or BIOS reset is needed — the calibration cycle handles it.

Laptop shuts down at 20–30% charge shown on screen

This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still reading from stale EEPROM data written by the old, degraded cell. The percentage shown on screen no longer matches the actual voltage the new cell is holding under load. Under full CPU and display draw, the cell hits a real voltage floor before the OS percentage reaches zero — the BMS trips and shuts the system down. Run two full calibration cycles as described above; after the second cycle, the gauge IC re-anchors to the new cell's actual voltage curve and the early shutdowns stop.

The Hasee Z7-CT7NK shows the new battery as "0% available (plugged in, not charging)" right after install — what's wrong?

The fuel gauge IC is reading EEPROM data written by the old cell and hasn't yet mapped the new chemistry. This is not a charging fault — the cell is accepting current even if the OS percentage isn't moving. Leave it plugged in for a full uninterrupted charge, then discharge to hibernate cutoff, and charge again to 100%. After that calibration cycle the OS percentage will track correctly.

System info shows the battery's Wh rating as 28Wh or some other wrong figure — is this the wrong cell?

The Wh figure shown in system info is pulled from EEPROM data the BMS wrote when the original cell was new. That stored value doesn't update automatically when a new cell is installed. The actual cell in this listing is rated 31.68Wh — the spec is correct. After one full calibration cycle the fuel gauge IC rewrites the EEPROM with figures from the new chemistry, and the reported Wh figure will align.

Charge stops at exactly 80% and won't go higher — is the cell defective?

On NH50-platform Hasee notebooks, the BIOS includes a charge-limit setting that caps charging at 80% to reduce cell wear during continuous desk use. Check the Hasee Control Center or BIOS power settings for a "Battery Charge Threshold" or "Conservation Mode" option and set it to 100%. This is a firmware-controlled limit, not a fault with the replacement cell.
