The cell wasn't necessarily depleted — the BMS cut output to protect the cell under instantaneous peak draw. Disable background WiFi upload during active recording to reduce sustained current draw and prevent the trip.

Lithium-polymer cells ship in a partial state of charge — typically 40–60% — for transport safety compliance. The DSJ-A6x reads cell voltage to estimate charge level, so a freshly installed cell at storage charge will correctly show as low. This is not a faulty battery. Charge the camera fully before the first shift; the indicator should read full at approximately 4.2V across the cell terminals.
