Replaces BA S460, BD29100, 35H00143-01M, 35H00154-04M batteries for HTC HD7 and T9292 models.
3.7V, 2100mAh Li-ion cell delivers the same charge capacity as the original pack for this Windows Phone device.
Connector type matches the OEM slot — ensure the battery tab aligns flush with the contact spring before closing the back cover.
We bench-tested this cell in an HD7 unit; the BMS accepted charge current without fault codes and held voltage stable under display and modem load.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle without opening apps — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate to the new cell's discharge curve before OS reporting stabilizes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

HTC HD7 / T9292 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BA S460)

This is a 3.7V 2100mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the HTC HD7 and T9292 smartphones. It uses OEM part numbers BA S460, BD29100, 35H00143-01M, and 35H00154-04M. If the original cell has degraded or failed entirely, this unit restores power to the device.

  • HD7 and T9292 compatibility: Both the HD7 (PD29110) and T9292 share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and charge IC handshake — the same 3.7V cell fits both without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the HD7 platform. The BMS accepted the charge IC handshake without fault codes, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first installation, disable any fast-charging accessory and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's actual discharge curve before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the HD7 after a cell swap

The HD7's fuel gauge IC retains the discharge curve of the previous cell in its coulomb counter. When a new cell is installed, the IC can misread the actual state of charge by a significant margin. Under modem radio or screen load, the real cell voltage drops faster than the gauge predicts, hitting the protection circuit's cutoff threshold while the display still shows 20–30%. One full discharge-charge cycle forces the IC to recalibrate. After that cycle, shutdowns at falsely reported charge levels typically stop.

HD7 not powering on after the battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells stored unused for extended periods can drop below 2.5V per cell — the threshold where the BMS enters lockout to prevent further discharge damage. The HD7 will show no boot activity and no charging indicator if this has occurred. Connect the device to a wall charger rated at 1A or higher and leave it for 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on. If the charge IC detects voltage above the recovery floor, it will trickle-charge the cell back into the normal operating window and the device will boot.

Frequently Asked Questions

My HD7 shows 25% battery and then shuts off without warning — is the new cell faulty?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The HD7's fuel gauge IC calibrated its discharge curve to the old cell, so it misreads the new one and reports a higher state of charge than actually exists. When the modem or screen draws current, the real voltage drops below the cutoff threshold while the display still shows 25%. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — after that single cycle the IC recalibrates and the shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage on my HD7 jumps around erratically after I fitted the replacement — what's causing it?

The coulomb counter in the HD7's fuel gauge IC is still referencing the old cell's internal resistance and capacity profile. Until it has a complete reference cycle, the percentage estimate drifts whenever load changes — screen-on, radio transmit, and screen-off all produce different voltage readings the IC can't yet interpret accurately. One uninterrupted discharge-to-charge cycle gives the IC a clean dataset to anchor against. After that cycle, erratic percentage readings settle to within a few percent of the actual state of charge.

My HD7 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery was left uninstalled for a few months — how do I recover it?

A cell stored outside the device for several months can fall below 2.5V, which triggers BMS lockout to block further self-discharge damage. The phone will show no screen activity and no charging light because the BMS blocks current flow in that state. Plug the HD7 into a wall charger at 1A or higher — not a PC USB port — and leave it connected for at least 25 minutes before pressing the power button. The charge IC uses a trickle-charge recovery path to bring the cell voltage back above the lockout threshold, after which normal charging and boot behaviour resume.
