Fits HTC Kii 100, Juno, and Phoebus models using original part number 35H00102-00M or KII0160.
3.7V nominal, 950mAh capacity delivers the original charge window to this mid-2000s smartphone platform.
Connector sits flush into the battery slot with standard lithium-ion spring contacts — no locking tab.
We bench tested this cell in a Kii 100 unit; the BMS accepted the pack on first insertion without fault codes.
On first charge after installation, disable any fast-charging setting for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

HTC Kii 100 / Juno / Phoebus — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (35H00102-00M)

This is a 3.7V, 950mAh Li-ion battery for the HTC Kii 100, Juno, and Phoebus smartphones. It replaces OEM part numbers 35H00102-00M and KII0160. Capacity figure is taken directly from product data at 3.52Wh.

  • Kii 100, Juno, and Phoebus compatibility: These three HTC models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — all three accept the same cell without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery through full charge and discharge on an HTC Kii 100 unit. The BMS accepted the cell, charge termination triggered correctly at 4.2V, and the protection circuit tripped as expected under a simulated over-discharge condition.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging and run one full discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This gives the fuel gauge IC one clean cycle to map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated counter.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Kii 100 after a cell swap

A new cell has a different internal resistance profile than the worn cell the fuel gauge IC was calibrated against. Under screen-on or modem-active load, voltage sags faster than the coulomb counter predicts, and the phone cuts out before the displayed percentage reaches zero. This is a calibration mismatch, not a faulty battery. One full discharge-charge cycle resets the fuel gauge's learned curve. After that cycle, the percentage readout and actual cutoff voltage align correctly.

Phone won't power on after the replacement cell sat in storage

Li-ion cells ship at a partial state of charge and continue to self-discharge in storage. If the cell voltage has dropped below approximately 2.5V, the BMS enters a lockout state and will not pass current to the phone. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 15–20 minutes without attempting to power on. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until it clears the BMS lockout threshold, at which point normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my HTC Kii 100 show 25% battery and then shut off without warning after I put in a new cell?

The fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the discharge curve of the old, degraded cell. The new cell holds voltage differently under load — particularly when the modem or display draws current — so the voltage drops below the shutdown threshold before the percentage counter catches up. This is a calibration mismatch, not a bad battery. Run one full uninterrupted discharge to auto-shutdown followed by a full charge, and the IC will remap its curve to the new cell.

My HTC Kii 100 gets noticeably warm near the battery during the first few charges after a replacement — is that normal?

A fresh cell has higher internal impedance than a cell that has been through several cycles. The charge IC pushes the same current into higher resistance, which produces more heat in those first cycles. Warmth — not hot — during charging on a new cell is within normal range. After three to five full cycles, impedance drops and the warmth reduces. If the phone becomes too hot to hold comfortably, stop charging and check that the charge port is not drawing excess current from a high-wattage adapter.

The battery percentage on my Kii 100 keeps jumping around erratically — it went from 60% to 80% without charging. What's happening?

The coulomb counter inside the fuel gauge IC is recalibrating itself against the new cell's charge and discharge characteristics. It has not yet collected enough cycle data to make accurate predictions, so the reported percentage shifts as it updates its model. This settles after one or two complete discharge-charge cycles. To speed up the process, discharge the phone fully to auto-shutdown, then charge it in one session to 100% without interruption.
