Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

HTC P3600 Series — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (35H00077-00M)
This 3.7V, 1250mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the original battery in the HTC P3600, P3600i, P4000, and P6300 smartphones. It matches the OEM footprint at 66.50 × 44.00 × 4.50mm and connects directly to the stock battery contacts. Voltage and capacity figures match the 35H00077-00M specification exactly.
- P3600 series compatibility: The P3600, P3600i, P4000, and P6300 share the same battery bay dimensions, contact layout, and 3.7V power rail. One cell fits all four devices without any modification to the housing or connector.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through a full charge and discharge sequence and confirmed the BMS communicates correctly with the charge IC — no false full-charge termination and no premature cutoff at the low-voltage threshold.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable any fast-charge accessory and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard current. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before the OS starts reading percentage against it.
Why the P3600 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap
The HTC P3600 uses a fuel gauge IC that tracks charge state against a stored discharge curve from the original cell. A new cell has different internal impedance, so the IC's coulomb counter starts out of sync. The phone may show 100% and then drop sharply, or hold a high percentage until a sudden shutdown. One full discharge down to automatic cutoff followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% forces the IC to re-learn the curve against the new cell.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell
This happens when the cell voltage drops below the modem's minimum operating threshold under transmission load, even though the fuel gauge still reads 20–30%. The original fuel gauge calibration mapped a worn cell's voltage sag, not a fresh one with different sag characteristics. Under GSM burst transmissions, instantaneous current draw causes a voltage dip the uncalibrated gauge did not anticipate. Run two full discharge-charge cycles and the gauge will shift its low-voltage warning to the correct point — typically around 3.5V under load.

Frequently Asked Questions
The P3600 powers off without warning around 25% battery — is the new cell faulty?
The cell is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the discharge curve of the old, degraded cell — when the new cell's voltage sags under GSM transmission load, the IC does not recognise the cutoff approaching and the phone shuts down without warning. Run two complete discharge-charge cycles at standard current and the coulomb counter will recalibrate to the new cell's sag profile. After that, the low-battery warning should trigger at the correct voltage, around 3.5V under load.
The battery percentage jumps erratically — it reads 60%, then skips to 80%, then drops to 40% within minutes.
This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against an unfamiliar cell. The IC uses a stored charge curve from the previous battery; a new cell with lower internal impedance produces voltage readings that don't match those stored reference points. Let the phone discharge fully to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — do not unplug early. After one or two full cycles, the coulomb counter stabilises and the percentage display tracks steadily.
The phone won't power on after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before I installed it.
Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell dropped below 2.5V, the BMS will have entered lockout mode to prevent damage — this blocks normal power-on. Connect the phone to a wall charger rather than a USB port, which supplies a trickle recovery current to bring the cell above the BMS re-enable threshold. Leave it connected for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on; the BMS typically re-initialises once the cell reaches approximately 2.8V.
