Replaces HTC B2Q3F100 and 35H00274-0M1 batteries for U11 Life, U11 Life Global LTE-A, and Ocean Life models.
Outputs 3.85V at 2500mAh capacity — delivers 9.63Wh total energy for the processor, display, and cellular modem on this device.
Connector is a two-pin JST Type-A receptacle; battery seats flush against the rear case with the locking tab oriented toward the upper left corner.
We bench-tested the cell on an HTC charge dock and confirmed the BMS accepts USB input on cycle two; fuel gauge IC requires one complete discharge-charge cycle to recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve.
On first use after installation, run one full discharge-charge cycle without fast charging enabled — this prevents the fuel gauge IC from misreporting percentage while it learns the new cell's voltage signature under load.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

HTC U11 Life — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (B2Q3F100)

This is a 3.85V, 2500mAh Li-Polymer cell for the HTC U11 Life, U11 Life Global LTE-A, and Ocean Life smartphones. It replaces OEM part numbers B2Q3F100 and 35H00274-0M1. Fit the replacement when the original cell has degraded past the point where it can hold a usable charge through a normal day of calls and screen-on time.

  • U11 Life and Ocean Life platform compatibility: These models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The 66.30 × 60.58 × 4.00mm cell fits all three variants without modification to the battery compartment or flex cable routing.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a U11 Life unit. The BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, charge termination fired correctly at 4.35V, and low-voltage cutoff engaged at the expected threshold without voltage sag triggering a hard shutdown.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell — preventing false percentage readings early on.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the U11 Life after a cell swap

A new Li-Polymer cell has a slightly different discharge curve than the aged cell the fuel gauge IC was calibrated to. When the modem fires a high-current burst — during a call handoff or LTE band switch — the cell voltage dips sharply. The fuel gauge reads that dip as a critically low state and the phone cuts power before the reported percentage reaches zero. One full discharge-charge cycle without fast charging resets the coulomb counter and aligns the IC to the new cell's actual curve.

Phone warm near the battery during the first few charging sessions

A fresh Li-Polymer cell typically has higher internal impedance than a cell that has completed several charge cycles. The charge IC compensates by pushing slightly more voltage to maintain the target current, which generates more heat at the cell surface. This is normal for the first three to five charge cycles and settles as the cell's impedance drops. If warmth continues beyond that point, check that the USB port and cable are delivering clean 5V — a marginal cable raises charge IC workload further.

Frequently Asked Questions

My HTC U11 Life shut off at 25% right after I put in the new battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is most likely fine. The fuel gauge IC on the U11 Life is calibrated to the discharge curve of the original cell, not the replacement. When modem load pulls a current spike, voltage sags past the IC's cutoff threshold even though usable charge remains. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% with fast charging turned off — the coulomb counter resets against the new cell's actual curve.

The battery percentage on my U11 Life is jumping around erratically after the swap — 60%, then 45%, then back to 55%.

This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating after a cell change. The coulomb counter still holds the old cell's capacity model, so voltage-to-percentage conversion produces unstable readings until it has a full reference cycle. Turn off fast charging in settings and run the phone down to shutdown once, then charge fully without interruption. The percentage display should stabilise within one to two cycles after that.

Fast charging stopped working on my U11 Life after the battery replacement — it only charges slowly now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, some USB-PD and proprietary fast-charge handshakes fail because the new BMS presents different impedance characteristics than the charge IC expects. The IC defaults to standard 5V charging as a precaution. Complete one full slow charge-discharge cycle first. After that cycle, reconnect the original fast-charge adapter — the charge IC re-negotiates the protocol once it has confirmed the new cell is within expected parameters.
