Fits Huawei GL10P and 303HW hotspot models, replacing OEM battery PBD10LPZ10.
This 3.7V 2000mAh cell delivers 7.4Wh to sustain extended WiFi sharing sessions without midday recharging.
Connector slides straight into the GL10P battery slot with a single locking tab on the right edge.
We bench-tested this pack under sustained cellular and WiFi load; the BMS held steady voltage through full discharge without early cutoff.
Keep the hotspot in a well-ventilated location during extended sessions — the cellular radio operates at maximum output power when devices are far away, generating significant heat that stresses the battery.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Huawei GL10P / 303HW — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (PBD10LPZ10)

This is a 3.7V 2000mAh Li-ion battery for the Huawei GL10P and 303HW portable WiFi hotspot. It replaces OEM part PBD10LPZ10. Swap it when the original cell no longer holds a charge or the device shuts off unexpectedly under load.

  • GL10P and 303HW compatibility: Both models use the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol. The replacement cell matches the 65.35 × 45.90 × 6.00mm footprint exactly, so no modification is needed to fit the housing.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell under simultaneous WiFi and cellular modem load with multiple connected clients. The BMS held the voltage rail steady and did not trigger overcurrent cutoff during peak radio output spikes.
  • Cellular signal and heat: Keep the GL10P in an open, ventilated spot during extended sessions. When connected devices are at the edge of WiFi range, the cellular radio operates at full output power continuously. That sustained draw raises cell temperature faster than normal use and shortens cycle life if heat cannot dissipate.

Voltage sag when all client slots are full on the GL10P

The GL10P runs a combined WiFi radio and cellular modem from a single 3.7V cell. When all client connections are active and the cellular signal is weak, both radios draw peak current at the same time. This causes a brief voltage drop that the BMS can read as a low-cell condition, triggering a protection cutoff even if the battery shows capacity remaining. The fix is to limit connected devices or move the hotspot closer to the cell tower to reduce modem transmit power.

GL10P won't boot after sitting unused for several weeks

Li-ion cells self-discharge at roughly 2–3% per month. If the GL10P is stored with a partial or low charge, the cell can drop below the minimum boot voltage — typically around 3.0V — and the BMS will block discharge to protect the cell. The device appears completely dead and does not respond to the power button. Connect it to a charger and leave it for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on; the charger will bring the cell back above the 3.0V threshold needed for the BMS to allow operation.

Frequently Asked Questions

My GL10P keeps dropping all connected users at the same time for a few seconds, then reconnects — is that the battery?

Yes, this is a voltage sag event, not a WiFi fault. When the cellular modem and WiFi radio both hit peak draw simultaneously — common when signal is poor and multiple clients are active — the cell voltage dips sharply and the BMS briefly cuts output to protect the cell. Move the hotspot to a location with stronger cellular signal to reduce modem transmit power, or reduce the number of active connected devices to bring total current draw below the sag threshold.

The GL10P battery drains much faster than it used to, even with only two devices connected — what causes that?

Poor cellular signal is the most common cause. When the GL10P can't find a strong tower, the modem runs at maximum transmit power continuously, which is the single largest current draw in the device. Two connected devices in a weak-signal area can pull as much current as a full load in a strong-signal area. Check signal bars first — if they're low, moving the hotspot near a window or closer to the tower will cut drain noticeably.

After I replaced the battery, the GL10P powers on but shuts off within a minute under load — the new cell is fully charged. What's wrong?

This usually means the replacement cell's BMS is reading a voltage inconsistency on the first few charge cycles after installation. Fully discharge the device until it shuts off on its own, then charge it uninterrupted to 100% without using it mid-charge. This lets the BMS calibrate its state-of-charge tracking against the actual cell capacity. If shutdown still occurs, check that the battery connector is fully seated — a loose pin causes intermittent voltage drop that the BMS treats as a fault at 3.2V.
