Why the L519 drops WiFi connections under full client load

The L519 runs two radios simultaneously — the cellular modem and the WiFi access point. At maximum client connections, combined current draw spikes sharply. If the battery cell has degraded internal resistance, voltage sags below the modem's operating threshold during these spikes. The modem resets, dropping all connected clients. A fresh cell with lower internal resistance holds voltage steady through the surge and prevents the reset cycle.

L519 won't power on after sitting unused for several weeks

Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage. If the L519 sat long enough, the battery may have dropped below the minimum boot voltage — typically around 3.0V — and the BMS locks out the cell to prevent damage. Plug the device into the OEM charger and leave it connected for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on. If the charge LED does not illuminate within five minutes, the cell voltage has likely dropped below the BMS recovery threshold and the battery requires replacement.
