Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Huawei M750 / U7519 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (HB5A2H)
This is a 3.7V, 1100mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Huawei M750, U7519, M228, C8000, and related models. It uses OEM part number HB5A2H (also cross-referenced as BTR7519). Physical dimensions are 54.05 × 34.10 × 5.40mm — measure your existing cell before ordering if you are unsure which variant you have.
- M750 / U7519 platform fit: These models share the same 3.7V single-cell architecture, physical footprint, and connector orientation. The BMS handshake on each device expects the same charge termination voltage, so one cell revision covers the full compatibility list without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and load on the M750 platform. The BMS accepted the cell on first insertion, charge termination triggered correctly at 4.2V, and protection cutoff activated as expected under a simulated low-voltage discharge.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle. The fuel gauge IC in these devices calibrates against the cell's discharge curve — skipping this step causes the percentage counter to drift against the new cell's actual capacity.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the M750 after a cell swap
This is a voltage cliff failure, not a capacity problem. The fuel gauge IC still holds the discharge curve from the old, degraded cell and predicts remaining charge incorrectly. When the modem fires a high-current burst — during a call or data sync — the new cell's actual voltage drops below the shutdown threshold before the percentage counter reaches zero. One full discharge cycle from 100% to automatic power-off, followed by a full charge, gives the coulomb counter enough data to rebuild an accurate curve against the replacement cell.
Device not powering on after the replacement battery sat in storage
Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage. If the cell voltage has dropped below approximately 2.5V, the BMS enters lockout mode and will not pass current to the device — the phone shows no sign of life even on charge. Connect the phone to a wall adapter, not a PC USB port, and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC needs sustained input voltage to trickle the cell above the BMS re-enable threshold of around 2.9V before normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Huawei M750 shows 25% battery and then shuts off without warning — is the new cell faulty?
The cell is almost certainly fine. This is a fuel gauge IC mismatch: the phone's coulomb counter was calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve and cannot predict voltage sag on the replacement under modem load. Run one complete cycle — discharge from 100% until the phone shuts itself off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — and the gauge will recalibrate. After that cycle, sudden shutdowns at 20–30% typically stop.
The battery percentage on my M750 jumps around erratically after fitting this cell — sometimes it gains 5% without charging.
Erratic percentage jumps are normal for the first few cycles after a cell swap. The fuel gauge IC uses a stored discharge curve from the previous cell to estimate state of charge — with a new cell, those estimates are wrong until the IC collects fresh data. Do not top up or interrupt charging during the first two full cycles. After two complete discharge-charge cycles, the coulomb counter stabilises against the new cell's actual characteristics.
Fast charging stopped working on my M750 after I fitted the replacement battery — it only trickle charges now.
Huawei's charge IC applies a conservative trickle profile on the first cycle when it detects an uncalibrated or newly installed cell. This is intentional — the IC limits current until it has verified the cell's internal resistance is within range. Charge the phone fully once using the standard wall adapter, then unplug and allow it to cool completely. On the second charge cycle the IC should step up to its normal current profile; if trickle charging persists beyond the second full charge, check that the adapter output is at least 5V/1A.
