Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Huawei Watch 2 4G / Watch 2 Pro 4G — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (HB512627ECW)
This is a 3.8V, 400mAh lithium-polymer cell built to the HB512627ECW specification. It fits the Huawei Watch 2 4G and Watch 2 Pro 4G smartwatches. Swap it in when your original cell no longer holds a charge through a full day of use.
- Watch 2 4G and Watch 2 Pro 4G compatibility: Both models share the same 3.8V cell format, connector pinout, and BMS handshake. The HB512627ECW dimensions — 26.90 × 25.75 × 4.90mm — match the battery bay on both variants, so no physical modification is needed.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the Watch 2 platform. The BMS accepted the new cell without fault codes, fuel gauge reporting tracked normally, and cellular and heart rate functions operated throughout the test.
- Post-swap charge cycle on Huawei Watch 2: After fitting this cell, place the watch immediately on its magnetic charger and run it to 100% before first use. The fuel gauge IC on this platform loses its reference point when the cell is removed. A full charge from near-zero after the swap lets the IC recalibrate — without it, the percentage display will be inaccurate from day one.
Why the Watch 2 4G drains faster with LTE active
The Watch 2 4G runs its own SIM and maintains an independent LTE connection. That cellular radio draws significantly more current than Bluetooth alone, especially in areas with weak signal where the modem increases transmit power. A 400mAh cell at 3.8V gives you 1.52Wh of capacity — that headroom shrinks quickly when LTE, continuous heart rate monitoring, and GPS all run together. Turning off standalone LTE when near a paired phone and using Bluetooth offload instead is the most effective way to extend charge intervals on this cell.
Charge contacts not connecting on the magnetic charger after reassembly
If the watch sits on the charger but shows no charging indicator after a battery swap, the most likely cause is the rear cover sitting fractionally off-axis, shifting the charge contacts away from the charger's magnetic alignment. Remove the watch from the charger, press the rear cover flat with even pressure around the full perimeter, then reseat it on the charger. If the charging icon still does not appear, clean the gold pogo contacts on both the watch and charger with a dry cotton swab — oxidation on the contact surface is enough to break the circuit at the low voltages involved here.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Huawei Watch 2 4G shows 0% and won't turn on right after I swapped the battery — is the new cell dead?
The cell is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC on the Watch 2 4G loses its stored reference when the original battery is disconnected, so it reports 0% because it genuinely has no calibrated baseline yet. Place the watch on its magnetic charger immediately — do not try to power it on first. Let it charge uninterrupted to 100%, and the gauge will recalibrate against the new cell's actual capacity.
The watch now drains from full to empty overnight with the heart rate monitor running — it never did that before.
Continuous heart rate monitoring draws constant current from the optical sensor, and on a fresh cell the impedance profile is slightly different from a degraded original, which can cause the sensor to sample more aggressively for the first several charge cycles. We saw elevated sensor draw normalise after three to five full charge-discharge cycles on the bench. If the drain continues past that point, check whether the always-on display is enabled — on a 400mAh cell, that setting alone can account for a significant portion of overnight draw.
The watch stopped pairing with my phone after the battery swap — Bluetooth just won't reconnect.
Removing the battery clears the active BLE session between the watch and the Huawei Health app. The watch and phone no longer share a trusted bond, so the phone does not see the watch as a known device. On your phone, open Bluetooth settings, find the Watch 2 entry, select "Forget this device," then open the Huawei Health app and use the add device flow to pair from scratch. The watch MAC address has not changed — you are just re-establishing the session that was dropped when power was cut.
