Fits Infinite Peripherals Linea Pro 4 barcode scanner, replaces OEM part ICP663450M.
3.7V lithium-ion cell rated 1200mAh delivers sustained power for wireless scanning and barcode capture.
Connector slides into scanner battery slot with positive terminal facing outward, locking tab secures firm seating.
We bench-tested this cell in a Linea Pro 4 cradle — BMS accepted the pack on first insertion and delivered consistent voltage under scan trigger draw cycles.
After installing, place the scanner in its cradle for a full charge cycle before using in pick-and-pack operation — the scan trigger inrush current is highest when the cell is near minimum and a fully charged pack prevents false BMS shutdowns on the first shift.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Infinite Peripherals Linea Pro 4 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (ICP663450M)

This 3.7V, 1200mAh Li-ion cell replaces the OEM ICP663450M battery in the Infinite Peripherals Linea Pro 4 mobile barcode scanner. The Linea Pro 4 attaches to an iPhone to deliver barcode scanning and wireless connectivity for retail and inventory workflows. Voltage and cell dimensions match the original pack exactly at 53.68 x 34.10 x 6.56mm.

  • Linea Pro 4 platform fit: The Linea Pro 4 runs a single-cell 3.7V architecture with a BMS that monitors cell voltage, temperature, and current draw across both the barcode imager and the wireless radio simultaneously. Any replacement cell must match the OEM voltage rail and physical footprint — this pack does both.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through combined scan-trigger and wireless polling loads. The BMS responded correctly to inrush current on the scan burst without tripping into protective cutoff, and cell voltage held stable through discharge.
  • First-shift preparation: After installing, seat the scanner in its cradle and run a full charge cycle before use on the floor. Scan-trigger inrush current is highest when the cell voltage is near minimum — a fully charged cell prevents false BMS trips during your first pick-and-pack shift.

Cradle showing a charging error on a new pack

A charging error on a freshly installed pack is almost always a contact resistance problem, not a faulty cell. The dock's charging contacts need a clean metal-to-metal connection to pass current and communicate battery state to the cradle firmware. Dust, oxidation, or a misaligned pack break that circuit and trigger the error flag. Wipe the gold contacts on both the pack and the cradle with a dry lint-free cloth, reseat the scanner firmly, and the charging indicator should clear within 30 seconds.

Scanner losing wireless connection during rapid scan bursts

Rapid scan bursts pull current from two sources at once — the imager firing and the wireless radio transmitting scan data. On a degraded or low cell, the combined inrush drops cell voltage below the radio module's minimum operating threshold, causing the wireless link to drop momentarily. The scanner may reconnect automatically, but the data from the burst is often lost. Charge the pack fully before a high-volume shift and check that cell voltage reads above 3.6V at rest before starting.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Linea Pro 4 imager stopped reading barcodes right after I swapped the battery — what's happening?

The barcode imager draws a short but sharp current spike every time it fires, and if the replacement cell shipped partially discharged, that spike can pull voltage low enough for the imager to fail to trigger. This isn't a fault with the pack — it's the BMS protecting an undercharged cell. Place the scanner in its cradle and charge fully before use. Once cell voltage is at 4.1–4.2V, the imager will fire without issue.

The scanner runs noticeably warm after a few hours on shift — is that normal?

Sustained barcode scanning combined with constant wireless polling generates steady current draw inside a compact, enclosed housing with little airflow. Some warmth is expected. If the housing feels hot to the touch rather than warm, check whether the scan burst frequency has increased — higher scan rates raise average current draw significantly. Keep the housing clear of enclosed pockets or cases during use, and allow a short rest period between intensive scan sessions.

My shift endurance is shorter than it was with the original battery, even with a new pack installed — what should I check?

Shallow charge cycles are the most common cause. If the scanner is returned to the cradle for brief top-ups throughout the day rather than full charge cycles, the BMS never completes a full calibration pass and the reported capacity drifts low. Run two full discharge-to-charge cycles — let the cell draw down to the low-voltage cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 4.2V — and shift endurance should normalise.
