Fits K-Touch S5, S5T, T810, E88 and six other models using OEM part TBT9701 or TBW9701.
3.7V nominal, 1800mAh capacity delivers 6.66Wh to restore full charge cycles on this smartphone platform.
Connector seats flat into the battery slot with no locking tab; orientation is keyed by contact layout.
We bench-cycled this cell on a K-Touch S5 test unit; BMS accepted the pack on first insertion with no fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

K-Touch S5 / T810 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (TBT9701)

This is a 3.7V, 1800mAh Li-ion cell replacing the original TBT9701 / TBW9701 battery in K-Touch smartphones. It fits the S5, S5T, T810, and E88, along with six additional K-Touch handsets that share the same battery bay dimensions and connector. Physical size is 72.00 × 56.90 × 4.50mm — verify against your existing cell before ordering.

  • S5 / T810 series fit: These models share a common battery footprint, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol across the range. One replacement cell covers all listed variants without adapter or modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on K-Touch hardware. The BMS accepted charge from the device's charge IC without tripping overcurrent or overvoltage cutoff, and the cell voltage held stable across a full discharge curve.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first install: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC build an accurate discharge curve against the new cell before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state. Skip this step and percentage readings will drift.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve from the old, degraded cell. The new cell has a steeper voltage drop under modem and screen load than the old cell did, so the phone hits a voltage floor the IC doesn't recognise as low — until the hardware forces a cutoff. The fix is one full discharge-to-shutdown followed by a full charge with fast charging off. After that cycle, the coulomb counter recalibrates to the new cell's actual curve and the shutdowns stop.

Phone won't power on after the battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells that drop below roughly 2.5V trigger a BMS lockout — the protection circuit opens and blocks current flow entirely. A standard wall charger may not push enough trickle current through the BMS to recover the cell. Connect the phone to a USB power source that delivers a consistent 5V/500mA, leave it connected for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button, then attempt a cold boot. If the BMS re-initialises, the charge IC will take over and bring the cell up to normal voltage from there.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my K-Touch showing the wrong battery percentage after I swapped the cell?

The fuel gauge IC stored a discharge curve built from your old, worn-out cell — it doesn't automatically reset when you install a new one. Run one full discharge from 100% down to automatic shutdown, then charge back to 100% with fast charging disabled. That single cycle gives the coulomb counter enough data to recalibrate against the new cell's actual voltage curve. After that, percentage readings will track correctly.

Fast charging stopped working the first time I plugged in after replacing the battery — is the cell faulty?

Not necessarily. On the first charge cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC can refuse to handshake the fast-charge protocol because the new BMS hasn't completed an initial negotiation sequence. Let the phone complete one full slow charge using a standard 5V charger. On the next charge cycle, plug in your fast charger — the protocol negotiation succeeds once the BMS has logged one complete charge event.

The phone feels warm near the battery while charging — is that normal with a new cell?

A new cell typically has slightly higher internal impedance than a cell that has been through dozens of cycles. The charge IC pushes current into that higher-impedance cell, and the extra resistance converts some energy to heat. This is most noticeable on the first few charges and reduces as the cell breaks in. If the back of the phone stays above hand-hot (roughly above 45°C) after the third full charge cycle, stop and inspect the battery seating — an uneven contact can elevate impedance further.
