Fits Kärcher EB 30/1 sweeper and Windsor Radius Mini EB30; replaces OEM part numbers 1.545-100.0, 1.545-102.0, 1.545-103.0, 1.545-107.0, 1.545-108.0, 1.545-111.0, 15451150, 15451160, 15451170, 15451180.
7.2V 2500mAh Li-ion cell delivers 18Wh to the motor; sustains brush head rotation on hard surfaces without voltage sag under normal debris loads.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a forward locking tab; orientation marked on pack and housing — insert until tab clicks and sits flush.
We ran the pack through five full discharge cycles on the motor load bench; BMS held steady without early cutoff, and voltage rail remained clean throughout sweep operation.
On first use with this sweeper, run the brush head at half speed for two cycles before maximum sweep speed — allows the BMS to calibrate motor inrush current before setting protection thresholds.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Karcher EB 30/1 Cordless Electric Sweeper 12" — 7.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery (1.545-100.0)

This 7.2V 2500mAh Li-ion battery is a direct replacement for the Karcher EB 30/1 Cordless Electric Sweeper 12" and compatible Windsor Radius Mini EB30 Commercial Cordless Floor Sweeper. It fits models listed under OEM part numbers 1.545-100.0 through 1.545-111.0 and related variants. Voltage and cell count match the original pack spec exactly.

  • EB 30/1 and Windsor EB30 platform fitment: Both the Karcher EB 30/1 and Windsor Radius Mini EB30 share the same 7.2V cell configuration, connector footprint, and BMS handshake protocol — that is why one battery serves both platforms without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full charge and discharge cycles on the EB 30/1 motor circuit. The BMS held within spec on startup draw and did not trip on repeated brush-engagement cycles across multiple test runs.
  • Brush motor engagement care: On first use, run the sweeper at light load — clear, flat hard surfaces — for two cycles before tackling deep debris or thick leaf accumulation. This lets the BMS profile the brush motor's startup inrush current before setting its overcurrent protection thresholds.

BMS cutoff on brush engagement — why the EB 30/1 stops immediately after switch-on

The EB 30/1 brush motor draws a short inrush spike the moment it engages. On a depleted or cold pack, cell voltage drops sharply under that load and the BMS reads it as an overcurrent event and cuts the circuit. The sweeper powers off instantly — often within one second of switch-on. Charging the pack to full before use keeps cell voltage high enough to absorb that startup spike without tripping the BMS cutoff.

Sweeper runs weak and brush slows mid-session

Brush speed drops and debris clearance weakens when cell voltage sags under sustained motor load. This is not a motor fault — it is voltage sag from elevated internal cell resistance, common in packs that have been shallow-cycled repeatedly or left in partial states of charge for extended periods. Check the terminal voltage under load with a multimeter; anything below 6.4V while the motor is running points to a degraded cell stack. A fresh pack at full charge will restore brush torque and consistent sweep speed.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Karcher EB 30/1 cuts out the instant I flick the switch — is this the battery?

Most likely yes. The brush motor pulls a short current spike on startup, and if the pack's cell voltage is low, the BMS trips the overcurrent cutoff within seconds. Charge the new pack fully before first use — a fully charged 7.2V Li-ion pack should read 8.2–8.4V off the charger. That resting voltage gives the cells enough headroom to absorb the startup inrush without tripping.

The charger light just blinks and never starts a charge cycle on a new battery — what's wrong?

When a Li-ion pack sits in storage, cell voltage can drop below the charger's acceptance threshold — typically around 6.0V for a 7.2V pack. Most chargers refuse to start a charge cycle on any pack reading below that floor as a safety measure. Leave the pack on the charger for 10–15 minutes; many chargers include a trickle pre-charge mode that will bring the cells back up to acceptance voltage before switching to a full charge cycle.

The sweeper worked fine in summer but feels sluggish in winter — is the battery failing?

Li-ion internal resistance rises significantly below 5°C, which causes heavier voltage sag under motor load — the brush slows and debris clearance suffers even on a healthy pack. Bring the battery indoors to room temperature for 30 minutes before use. If performance recovers once the pack warms up, the cells are fine; if it stays weak at room temperature, measure resting voltage — a healthy fully charged pack should hold at least 8.0V with no load.
