Replaces E11, E16, LT826, LT828 — original LAMTAM smartphone battery pack.
3.7V, 1050mAh cell powers standard daily phone operation without capacity loss.
Connector solders directly to the phone's charge circuit board — no slot or locking tab.
We ran discharge load testing on the new BMS — voltage held steady through mid-range, no early cutoff observed.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

LAMTAM E11 / E16 / LT826 / LT828 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V, 1050mAh (3.89Wh) Li-ion cell sourced to match the LAMTAM E11, E16, LT826, and LT828 OEM part numbers. It fits smartphones that take this battery form factor. Physical dimensions are 53.00 × 33.90 × 5.60mm — measure your original before ordering.

  • E11, E16, LT826, LT828 cell group: These four part numbers share the same voltage rail, footprint, and connector pinout. A single replacement cell covers all four because the BMS handshake and charge termination voltage are identical across this group.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and load discharge on a test rig. The BMS held charge termination at 4.20V and tripped the low-voltage cutoff cleanly without hanging the protection circuit.
  • First-cycle fuel gauge recalibration: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before any high-current charge session pushes current into an uncalibrated state register.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens because the phone's fuel gauge IC is still reading a discharge curve calibrated to the old, degraded cell. The new cell's voltage drops more steeply under modem or display load than the IC expects at that state-of-charge. The phone interprets the sag as a dead cell and shuts down. One full discharge cycle — running the phone down to auto-off, then charging uninterrupted to 100% — rewrites the coulomb counter baseline and eliminates the false cutoff.

USB fast charge not activating after battery swap

Some phones require the BMS on a new cell to complete at least one full trickle-to-CC charge handshake before the charge IC will negotiate a higher voltage protocol. On the first cycle, the charger may default to 5V standard charge only. This is not a fault with the cell. Charge fully once at standard rate, disconnect, then reconnect — the fast charge protocol should activate from the second session onward.

Frequently Asked Questions

My phone just switched off at 28% after I put this battery in — is the cell faulty?

The cell is not faulty. The phone's fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve, so it misreads the new cell's voltage sag under load as empty. Run one full discharge cycle — let the phone drain to auto-shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption. That rewrites the coulomb counter and the false cutoff at 20–30% stops.

The phone feels warm near the battery during the first few charges — is that normal?

A new Li-ion cell has slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC dissipates a little more heat during the initial constant-current phase. We saw the same behaviour on the bench — surface temperature dropped after two to three full cycles as the cell's impedance settled. If the phone stays warm well into a charge session after the third cycle, check that the charge IC is not stuck in trickle mode due to an uncalibrated fuel gauge.

The phone won't turn on at all after the battery sat in a drawer for months before I installed it — how do I recover it?

If the cell discharged below 2.5V in storage, the BMS locks out to prevent damage and the phone will not boot from the power button. Connect the phone to a low-current USB charger — 5V standard, not fast charge — and leave it for 20 to 30 minutes without pressing anything. The BMS recovery circuit trickle-charges the cell back above the lockout threshold, after which the phone should power on and accept a normal charge. If the charge LED never activates after 30 minutes, the cell dropped below the BMS hard cutoff and cannot be recovered.
