Fits Lauben 26BB cordless stick vacuum, replaces OEM battery CS-BPK100VX.
14.4V 3000mAh lithium-ion cell delivers full motor power and suction across cleaning cycles.
Battery slides into vertical dock slot with side locking tab; connector is keyed.
Bench testing confirmed stable 14.4V output under motor load; BMS trip engaged at blockage.
Remove from charging dock immediately after full charge — continuous dock contact degrades capacity faster than charge-and-remove cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Lauben 26BB — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V 3000mAh (43.2Wh) lithium-ion battery for the Lauben 26BB cordless vacuum cleaner. It replaces the original pack when capacity has degraded or the cell has failed outright. Same voltage, same connector position, same form factor as the factory unit.

  • Lauben 26BB compatibility: The 26BB runs its motor controller on a 14.4V rail with a specific current draw profile during suction bursts. This cell matches that voltage and the BMS communicates the state-of-charge correctly to the vacuum's charge indicator — no phantom low-battery warnings.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through full charge and discharge runs on the 26BB platform. The BMS handled motor-start inrush without tripping, and the cell held voltage above the 10.8V cutoff threshold throughout the discharge curve.
  • Dock charging on the 26BB: Do not leave the 26BB sitting on the charging dock permanently. Continuous dock charge exposes lithium cells to sustained trickle current, which accelerates capacity fade. Charge to full, then remove from the dock until the next use.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the 26BB

This happens when the motor has to work harder than rated — usually a blocked filter forcing the motor to draw excess current. The BMS reads that current spike as a potential fault and throttles power delivery before the state-of-charge indicator catches up. The result looks like a dying battery but the cell itself still has charge. Clean or replace the filter first, then check whether suction recovers immediately on the same charge cycle.

Motor cutting out mid-use then recovering after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead cell. When suction is restricted — blocked nozzle, clogged filter, or hair wrapped around the brush — the motor pulls current above the BMS threshold and the protection circuit opens. It resets automatically once current drops back to safe levels, which is why the vacuum restarts on its own. Clear the blockage and test again; if the trip repeats on a clean filter, check that the cell voltage reads above 12.5V under load before assuming a faulty pack.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Lauben 26BB suction is noticeably weaker halfway through cleaning even though the battery indicator isn't showing low — what's causing that?

The most common cause is a partially blocked filter forcing the motor to draw more current than rated. The extra load pulls the cell voltage down faster than the indicator registers, so suction drops while the display still shows charge remaining. Clean the filter completely and run the vacuum again — if suction holds steady across the full charge cycle, the filter was the culprit. If it still drops, check that cell voltage under load stays above 11V.

My 26BB was working fine but after leaving it on the dock for a few weeks, the charge doesn't last nearly as long — is the new battery already failing?

Continuous dock charging is the most frequent cause of early capacity fade on cordless vacuums. The charger keeps trickling current into the cell even after it's full, and lithium-ion chemistry degrades faster when held at 100% under sustained charge. The original pack likely suffered the same damage over time. With this replacement, charge to full and pull it off the dock — capacity should stay stable across many more cycles than the original managed.

The Lauben 26BB won't accept a charge from the dock after I installed the replacement battery — the charging light doesn't come on at all.

The 26BB's charger performs a basic BMS handshake before it starts pushing current — if the pack voltage has dropped below roughly 10V (deep discharge), the charger will refuse to initiate. Verify the pack voltage with a multimeter at the battery terminals. If it reads below 10V, use a lithium-compatible charger to apply a brief recovery charge at a low rate until voltage climbs above 10.5V, then return it to the dock. If the dock light still won't activate above that voltage, check that the battery connector is fully seated.
