Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Lenovo Tab M10 Plus 3rd Gen — 3.86V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (L20D2P32)
This is a 3.86V, 7500mAh (28.95Wh) Li-Polymer battery for the Lenovo Tab M10 Plus 3rd Gen and related Tab P11 series tablets. It replaces OEM part number L20D2P32. Compatible models include the Tab M10 Plus 3rd Gen, Tab P11, Tab P11 5G, and TB-J606F, among others.
- Tab M10 Plus 3rd Gen and P11 series fit: These models share the same internal battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol — all using the L20D2P32 cell at 3.86V nominal. The fuel gauge IC reads the same battery ID across this family, so the swap is electrically direct.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the Tab M10 Plus 3rd Gen platform. The BMS accepted the cell, completed CC/CV charging without fault flags, and the charge IC handed off to trickle correctly at full capacity.
- Fuel gauge recalibration after install: After fitting the new battery, run it down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the tablet. This gives the fuel gauge IC one full reference cycle against the new cell and clears the inaccurate percentage readings that appear immediately after a swap.
Tablet shutting down at 15–25% remaining after battery replacement
This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's voltage curve. The display and active WiFi together create a combined load spike that pulls cell voltage below the BMS cutoff threshold earlier than the percentage reading predicts. The tablet reads 20% but actual cell voltage has already dropped to the shutdown floor. One full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% resets the calibration — after that, the reported percentage and actual cell voltage align correctly.
Fast charging not available after battery swap on the Tab M10 Plus 3rd Gen
The Tab M10 Plus 3rd Gen uses USB Power Delivery negotiation to enable fast charging — the charge IC needs to complete at least one accepted full charge cycle before it confirms the new cell's parameters and re-enables higher wattage input. If fast charge is missing immediately after install, plug into the original Lenovo charger and let it complete one full uninterrupted charge to 100%. After that cycle, USB-PD negotiation resumes normally and fast charge reappears in the battery settings.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Tab M10 Plus 3rd Gen shows 80% battery but just switched off — what's happening?
The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's voltage discharge curve, so the percentage and actual cell voltage are out of sync. Under the combined load of the display and WiFi, cell voltage hits the BMS cutoff before the percentage reaches zero. Run the tablet down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using it. After that one full reference cycle, the fuel gauge realigns and shutdowns at false percentages stop.
The battery percentage on my Tab P11 is jumping around after I replaced the battery — is the new cell faulty?
It's not a faulty cell — it's the fuel gauge IC reading a new cell with no calibration data. The IC was trained on the old cell's internal resistance and capacity curve, so it estimates erratically against the new one. Do one complete discharge to automatic shutoff followed by a full uninterrupted charge to 100%. That single cycle gives the IC a real capacity reference for the L20D2P32 cell and the percentage stabilises.
The tablet feels warm near the charging port while charging the new battery — should I stop?
Mild warmth during the first few charge cycles is normal. The charge IC runs a conditioning pass on a new Li-Polymer cell, operating at slightly higher current while it maps the cell's internal resistance. Surface temperature should stay well below 40°C and drop back to ambient by the second or third charge. If the case becomes hot to the touch or charging stops before 100%, check that you are using the original Lenovo charger — third-party adapters can mismatch the USB-PD voltage profile and cause the charge IC to fault.
