The ThinkPad 11e stops charging at 80% and won't go higher — is something wrong with the replacement cell?
This is almost always the ThinkPad Power Manager or Lenovo Vantage charge threshold setting, not a cell fault. Lenovo's firmware includes a configurable charge limit that caps charging at 80% to reduce long-term cell stress — it persists across battery replacements. Open Lenovo Vantage (or Power Manager on older builds), navigate to the battery charge threshold settings, and set the upper limit to 100%.
