Fits Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 260 and replaces OEM part numbers 00HW026, 00HW027, SB10F46464, and SB10F46465.
15.2V and 2900mAh capacity delivers 44.08Wh — matches original output for full runtime between charges.
Connector seats into the battery slot with orientation key; locking tab clicks once when fully inserted and seated.
We bench tested this cell on a Yoga 260 with the BMS reporting correct voltage immediately; fuel gauge IC required a full discharge cycle to calibrate against the new pack.
After installation, run one complete discharge to hibernation cutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears false health warnings.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 260 — 15.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery (00HW026)

This is a 15.2V, 2900mAh (44.08Wh) Li-ion cell for the ThinkPad Yoga 260 2-in-1 convertible laptop. It fits the full range of Yoga 260 variants, including AU-market models. OEM part numbers covered: 00HW026, 00HW027, SB10F46464, and SB10F46465.

  • Yoga 260 variant coverage: All Yoga 260 sub-models share the same 15.2V four-cell Li-ion architecture, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One battery fits every variant in the 20FE and 20FD chassis lines.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a Yoga 260 unit. The BMS negotiated correctly with the EC firmware, reported accurate state-of-charge, and held voltage under combined CPU and display load without triggering a false low-voltage cutoff.
  • Post-install calibration on the Yoga 260: After fitting this cell, run one full discharge down to hibernate cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears in Lenovo Vantage after every cell swap.

BIOS reporting battery health as poor after replacement on the Yoga 260

The Yoga 260 EC stores cycle count and health data in EEPROM from the previous cell. When a new cell is fitted, the BIOS reads stale data and flags the battery as degraded before it has run a single cycle. This is a firmware state issue, not a fault with the replacement cell. One full discharge-to-hibernate followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% forces the BIOS learn cycle to rewrite that EEPROM data against the new cell. After two to three cycles, Lenovo Vantage should report health in the normal range.

Yoga 260 shutting down at 20–30% charge shown on screen

This happens when the fuel gauge IC has not yet calibrated its discharge curve against the new cell. The reported percentage and the actual remaining capacity are out of sync, so the laptop hits the hardware low-voltage floor before the OS gauge reaches zero. It is not a faulty cell — it is a calibration gap. Run two full discharge-to-hibernate cycles with no interruption, then charge fully each time. After those cycles the fuel gauge IC recalibrates its curve and the shutdown should move back to below 5% remaining.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does Lenovo Vantage show the new battery as "0% available (plugged in, not charging)" right after installation?

The EC on the Yoga 260 sometimes loses handshake with a new cell if the laptop wasn't fully powered off during the swap — not just put to sleep. Shut down completely, remove AC power, reseat the battery connector, then boot with the charger plugged in. Vantage should re-detect the cell within one full charge cycle and display a correct percentage.

The battery Wh rating shown in Device Manager doesn't match the 44.08Wh spec — is the cell wrong?

The Wh figure Windows reads comes from the EEPROM on the battery controller, which stores the rated design capacity. The actual measured capacity after a calibration cycle may read slightly differently until the fuel gauge IC has logged real charge and discharge data against this specific cell. Run one full discharge to hibernate cutoff and one uninterrupted charge to 100%. After that cycle, the reported Wh figure in Device Manager aligns closer to the rated 44.08Wh.

Charge stops at 80% and won't go higher — is this a faulty battery?

Almost certainly not. The Yoga 260 BIOS includes a charge threshold setting that caps charging at 80% to reduce cell stress during long plugged-in sessions. Check Lenovo Vantage under Power → Battery Charge Threshold and confirm the upper limit is set to 100%. If Vantage isn't installed, the same setting is accessible in the BIOS under Config → Power → Charge Threshold.
