Fits Lenovo YOGA 910, YOGA 910-13IKB models; replaces OEM part L15M4P23, 5B10L22508, L15C4P21, L15C4P22, L15M4P21.
7.68V and 8100mAh capacity deliver 62.21Wh — sufficient for full-day mixed workload on this 13.9-inch convertible.
Connector attaches to the mainboard slot with a single push-pin latch; orientation marked on both cell and socket.
We bench-tested this Li-Polymer pack across three charge cycles; BMS engaged at 8.3V cutoff with no early shutdown observed.
After installation, run one full discharge to hibernation-cutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears inaccurate health warnings.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Lenovo YOGA 910-13IKB — 7.68V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (L15M4P23)

This is a 7.68V, 8100mAh (62.21Wh) Li-Polymer battery for the Lenovo YOGA 910 and YOGA 910-13IKB convertible laptop series. It replaces OEM part numbers L15M4P23, L15C4P21, L15C4P22, 5B10L22508, and L15M4P21. The slim 4.00mm profile fits the YOGA 910's chassis without modification.

  • YOGA 910-13IKB series compatibility: The 910-13IKB variants — including 80VF models — share the same voltage rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell covers all configurations listed across this generation.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a YOGA 910-13IKB unit. The BMS negotiated correctly, protection circuits tripped at the expected cutoff thresholds, and the fuel gauge IC accepted the new cell without error flags after calibration.
  • First-cycle recalibration on YOGA 910: After installing, discharge the laptop normally until it hibernates at its low-battery cutoff. Then charge uninterrupted to 100% without waking the system. This forces the BIOS battery learn cycle to reset against the new cell and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap on this platform.

YOGA 910 shutting down at 20–30% shown after battery swap

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still running calibration data from the old, degraded cell. Under combined CPU and display load, the new cell's actual voltage curve doesn't match what the BIOS expects, so the system reads a false low and cuts power. It is not a fault with the replacement cell. Run two full discharge-to-hibernate cycles followed by uninterrupted charges to 100% — after that, the gauge IC recalibrates to the new cell's voltage curve and the early shutdowns stop.

BIOS reporting wrong Wh rating after installing this cell

The Wh figure shown in Lenovo Vantage or the BIOS battery screen reads from EEPROM data written at the factory, not from a live measurement of the installed cell. A new cell's EEPROM may report a slightly different Wh value than what the original showed, and this is normal. The cell in this listing is rated at 62.21Wh — if your BIOS shows a different number, cross-check against the physical label on the battery, not the software readout. No firmware update or recalibration changes what EEPROM reports.

Frequently Asked Questions

My YOGA 910 shows battery health as "poor" or "replace soon" immediately after I put in the new battery — is the cell bad?

The health warning reads from EEPROM data carried over from the old cell, not from any measurement of the new one. The new cell hasn't run a learn cycle yet, so the BIOS has no valid data to assess it against. Run one full discharge to hibernate-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After that cycle completes, the BIOS battery learn cycle resets and the warning clears.

The charge stops at exactly 80% and won't go higher — is this a fault with the replacement battery?

No — on YOGA 910 units, Lenovo's firmware includes a BIOS-controlled charge limit that caps charging at 80% when Conservation Mode is active in Lenovo Vantage. The battery itself is not limiting charge. Open Lenovo Vantage, go to Power, and toggle Conservation Mode off. The cell will then charge to 100%.

The fuel gauge is jumping around wildly — showing 60%, then 45%, then 70% within minutes of each other — what causes that?

The fuel gauge IC calibrates itself against a cell's discharge curve over several cycles. With a new cell installed, it has no reference curve yet, so readings are unreliable for the first two to three cycles. This is not a cell defect. Run two complete discharge-to-hibernate cycles with uninterrupted charges back to 100% each time, and the gauge IC will stabilise its readings against the new cell's actual voltage profile.
